gm's have always been clueless as fuck, cant take anything they say serious at all

It's hard to be an EU GM. Think about it, half the people you have service try hard so much that they invent their own languages to fuck with GMs. It's embarrassing.

I used to make so many tickets because I was that guy that happened to find 7 hackers attacking the same mineral node when I was trying to mine, or I would end up being feared under the ground and stuck there for some time.
But back OT: GMs are basically "special" players, in that they have characters like us, and they're elected to respond to player inquiries because they have experience in handling things like this, but they are not privy to developer material. What they do is speculate on what could happen based on what has happened in the past. This information is unique mainly because this GM was giving leeway to an actual MMR reset/serious ban for those really abused the MMR exploit, which is a first for Blizzard to be handing out punishments to PvP exploiters.
