Has blizzard announced they're fixing this shit?  i assume theyre going to wipe all the iditos who are trading up but are they doing a full ladder wipe/mmr wipe? whats the word nerds. cbf reading into it, tell me here. ty

My bet is that they won't do shit until GC posts that they found a bug with the MMR system on twitter in 2 months.

Blizzard will probably address the issue at their own pace (1 or 2 weeks? Who knows...). If anything, they'll only reset teams that they think MMR exploited (which won't fix too much, as people who aren't doing the exploit are benefiting from free points from the exploiters as well).

A full ladder/MMR reset is pretty much wishful thinking at this point. Knowing Blizzard, even if they do a ladder reset, they'll probably ignore resetting MMR, and defend this action by saying "we don't believe MMR to be the issue." The reason why I feel this way: you can't just turn your head to something like this for this long. Obviously, because Blizzard isn't taking immediate action, this issue is only going to get more severe. Yet again, another destroyed season.

meh ladder inflation may actually be good for the arena, getting points without doing RBG is a pain as it is. The season still has a long way to go, as long as they ban the top traders it won't affect glad titles.

i reckon it wont even be a fix. will be a team wipe/DQ for the obvious ones, and the mmr will disperse around and ratings will inflate again.

I think its gonna be a team wipe, they will not touch the mmr because of the new system they are gonna be implementing in 5.1 wich gonna be an mmr inflation anyways

Many people got the wrong cap from arena last week, resulting in missing 450-550 points. They did not even attempt to fix that.(but they fixed rbg caps, rbg = pve? lol)
I hope it's not an indication of how much they prioritize arena but I think it's quite optimistic to get an mmr/ladder reset.

Hahaha, this is just crazy, look at the ladders, oh my days .... how could this even happen, so sad, really suck for teams who have played alot early season like myself, but also for example dakkroth which has been streaming alot lately etc, must be fun to wake up and notice 10 new teams far above yourself when you are at the peak of highest rating possible to reach in current mmr system, farming 0-5 pts!
whats going to happen now?

abit frustrated about all the time that has been wasted now when blizzard obviously is going to have to do something about this (probably reset ladders or something) considering alot of "legit" teams have been getting free rating / mmr from exploiters which inflates the ladders alot. (just look at cyclone BG in eu for example)

This is disgusting..... Everyone is just queuing into those exploiters, and acting as if their new 2.7k rating is so legit. I don't even know what blizzard is thinking, not having done anything already.. The ladders are just getting more and more fucked, and if they're not even gonna wipe the ladder, and 100 % not even gonna remove the achievements, it's just a joke.. 2.7 new 2.1 lolol

When MMR was broken at the start of S9 they reset teams and MMR down to 2k for anyone above 2k I believe, I don't see why they wouldn't now.
