That being said, I feel like with good peels resto shaman are devastating. I just hate watching holy paladin run out in the middle of no mans land, get swapped too and still manage to get away, when that'd be a death sentance for me.

Though i do think paladins and druids both have extremely strong comps that are better with those respective classes than with a resto shaman.

LOL at how wrong the people discussing healers were in this thread, people second guessing like they know fucking everything.
Whilte shamans are better than druids, druids are still ace to play... i never really feel like a loss is because of playing druid but more so just the general game/1shot/mistake.

The entire Tremor Totem + Totemic Restoration + Blood Fear arms race is really fucking over all other healers.

That's exactly how I feel playing druid. Oh look a warlock. Oh look I cannot do jackshit to prevent getting feared. Blockblockblock quick. 2 mins later, same shit, they score a kill. Same with getting deeped into blanket. It just offers you no chance to do anything about it - shamans at least can "outplay" (?) a mage by knowing when to ground an incoming deep, they are unaffected by warrior fears (also a huge issue to other healers) etcetc.
Don't take this post the wrong way - I'm not complaining about druids. They're easly Gladiator capable (r1 if your team plays perfectly [jk mmrexploit]), they're probably where all healers should be at now. It's just I feel there is so much more room for mistakes while playing with a shaman healer. There is a reason why every legit r1 team on pretty much every battlegroup has a shaman healer. I don't understand how Blizzard think direct counters to certain ability are a good idea (the tremor totem vs intimidating shout for example), and I'm not even sure if locks themselves are enjoying that idiotic Blood Fear mechanic, do you really feel like you're outplaying someone when your team scores a kill from you insta fearing a healer?
I'm STILL puzzled to this day why won't they make effort to recruit some of the top players to watch over mechanics, and report/work over pvp issues. Pretty much 3/4 of AJ community would do a helluva better job than dogcrawler and his cronies do.
