I'm sure we've all noticed how certain actions in the game have certain words we use to describe them that only the seasoned WoW player would know and use. To talk a good game is to play a game. 95% of a WoW PvPer's life is spent AFK. Learn to spend that time improving your vocabulary and demoralizing the competition! Nothing lets your teammates know that you're a good player like using the right words in and out of arena. These are a few WoW vocabulary words to help you become a better player - add your own in the comment section!
Swifty - To kill someone really quickly by yourself, not necessarily with any coordination from one's team. Although swifty is typically used when describing a warrior doing 'down goes Venruki' damage, it could also be referenced to other classes, such as a warlock while using demon soul chaos bolt, a hunter afk'ing, or a mage with frost bomb and orb.
-Guys, I'm almost out of mana, if this game isn't over in a few seconds then I'm gonna have to drink or we lose.
-Don't worry, I almost have my swifty up!
-OMG, I just got swifty'd so hard! I didn't even get to link!
Realz - To use all of one's cool downs extremely quickly in the most offensive of manners. Someone who is realz'ing will stop at nothing to get the kill in the fastest possible way (typically a healer). A player who is realizing will trinket the first CC and use all of their offensive cd's in the first few seconds of a game. A realz cannot be stopped unless killed. A realz knows no other target than its initial one. A realz knows no such thing as diminishing returns - if silence or stun is off cool down, you will be silenced or stunned, no matter how short.
-HAHA LOOK AT THIS REALZ! HE JUST TRINKETED IMPACT STUN!!!
Neilyo - 1. To go out of ones way to do seemingly incredible cc and no damage (most commonly used in describing rogue gameplay). To neilyo is to cc someone who didn't necessarily need to be cc'd and probably lose the kill attempt because of it.
2. To try really hard in a duel or 1 v X situation.
- *Removed because rogues no longer exist in arena situations*
- Why is this warrior still playing? His paladin died 20 minutes ago? What kind of neilyo is he trying to pull?
Scumbag - 1. One who queues an extremely odd comp with the sole purpose (even if unintentional) of countering your comp. Ex - Q'ing double enh sham + resto shaman into your mld.
2. A person one envies, usually because of gear. Ex - A rogue with legendaries or a caster in WotLK with DFO.
3. A person who annoys you. Ex - A nagger, or person who nags a lot, is a scumbag.
4. Kaska.
Fun - To do something one enjoys. Fun in WoW is typically used to describe how much a person gets to play their character. The best players control how much fun their opponents have. Fun can be prevented by excess cc, swifty'ing, or ddos'ing (usually done by win trading scumbags, australians, or extremely obese 12 year olds).
- Nice CC! That shaman is having no fun right now!
- Train the mage! Don't let him have any fun!
Step up your game. Use the right words at the right time. Dominate the competition one word at a time! Trash talk is winning talk.
Feel free to post your own favorite WoW terms!

Ven, We steal some of your jokes in hopes that they will help us become similar caliber players and have as much fun as you guys do! Everyone knows that if you can't use the pro's terms you can't be pro.
+rep to all of those players that have been around forever and continue to give the rest of us bars to reach for
