There's wayyyy too much whining. Get over it. Things won't get fixed with this sort of QQing. Turn it into something productive and make a post on the main forums validating the pros and cons about each aspect that you want to complain about.

The trolling and negativity is sky high on these forums......

We have been giving quality feedback on PvP since Wrath... and you see where we are now. People are just tired.

These changes will make it so the top teams are the same throughout the whole season, since they will be ahead of everyone in gear, and the system will allow them to inflate. This change will do nothing but make the casual arena players even more angry, and it will force good Arena players to play relentlessly, every week. End of the season is going to become awful since the system encourages people hovering under glad and then pushing super hard, and when titles are on the line, you can bet that cheating will come along with that. As much as I hated last season not being able to get queues, at least there wasn't much cheating in the last few weeks.

Make seasons shorter, no balancing changes 3/4ths through the seasons. Gear needs to be easier to get, with mounts, pets, titles, and transmog gear being the reward for continuously playing.

People play arena because they want to, because they hope it will be fun. Not a single person above 1800 says, "WOW I would REALLY love to play arenas so I can get those kool epix gear so my friends will be jelly." No one cares about gear, people want to compete and have fun.

Update: We have just discovered a bug in which the debuff that makes Stampede pets weaker than normal pets was not being applied in Arenas. This helps explain why hunters could cause so much damage in Arenas but not in (say) the outdoor world or a dungeon environment.

Haha yeah no kidding

Yes, let's whine about how people are whining about this blog. Surely that will reduce the QQ.

Not bad, glad he's posting about PvP.  Too much crying from people in here.

I'm worried about the "constant inflation" model and can see that getting out of hand if not implemented correctly.  I'd give blizzard a 50/50 shot at getting it right.

I liked the part about rsham and hpal getting a healing nerf, BOW DOWN TO DRUIDS! :duckers:

Hopefully with these things implemented, the bads playing KFC now won't be rewarded for it at the end of the season.

::queues up as KFC::

Some good ideas. Happy to see they're looking to fix BM and Frost.

Not sure about the "constantly upgrade your gear" thing tough. Guess its a very effective way to keep people subscribed, sucks for alts or people that need to take time off the game because of work/school or whatever.

The TR buff over-time could work, or it could be a complete catastrophe ala S9/S10. Guess we'll see. Looks like we will see a lot more people with T2 weaps/gear, not like it really matters. Kinda hoping they will get it right.

As long as they make the game enjoyable

The games I've played have been the most vomit inducing shit. It's not about skill, it's about the first team to global someone.

Holy Paladins are way to strong, way better then druids and shaman. Blood Fear, PoM Ring, and the absurd amounts of CC make the game fun, and forcing me to do dailies to get Valor points seems like a good way to keep the customers coming back for more. Would read again.

Hpallies are fine, minus AoE blind. Just take that out, and take druid aoe disorient out.

Pallies have strong healing, but still eat a lot of CCs. They are good at the moment due to the general lack of high-rated wizards. Once warrior and hunter nerfs go through, pallies will go back to being mediocre.

I was being sarcastic if you couldn't tell. The only reason Holy paladins have a lot of representation right now is all the cleaves. As soon as wizards are back on top paladins will be mediocre, even right now I would put holy behind Resto shaman and Druids in that order. That being said, Holy paladin cc does need to be nerfed, whether its blind or repentence.

The negativity in here is reaching a whole new level. The PvP community whines about the blues not listening or reading the complaints of their players, and that even if they do, they never reply or give us anything.

Ghostcrawler now goes ahead and writes up a blog entry on what their main points of focus are right now, considering PvP balance, and all that most of you can come up with is an almost ad verbatim quote on how Blizzard sucks at balancing PvP, how they've missed this issue or that, or in general, just how bad of a job they're doing.

10+ spells get removed at 5.0, then the expansion hits and after 1 month without arena for disc priests; what has been done is:: Mindbender regen ~5k more mana per minute, Psyfiend is now one-shottable and shields are nerfed by %15.
Then the lead designer of the game makes a long post about pvp and doesn't mention disc priests.
So yes, you are absolutely right, people are so negative and whiny, they are just childish and impatient, they just don't appreciate this great blog with great maturity like you do. Even though disc issues were pointed out months ago and people couldn't do arena for weeks, they should be happy about a blog that contains balance information that is beyond trivial.
