combat isn't bad but has problems with high armor being too good against it, mages being gods and killing spree having too many weak points.

displacer beast, blink, pets in general can cause you to being warped too far from your primary target, general bug out where it doesn't do anything, heroic leap, can be disarmed mid killing spree, mirror images, demonic portal, demonic leap, disengage and roll are just all too good versus it. if you're lucky, you might follow people when they use stuff like leap, disengage or demonic leap but it's too rare.


that being said, paralytic poison and shuriken toss can help out combat along via random stuns during killing spree and shuriken toss to extend bandit guile duration of 10-20%. not to mention it does more dmg than ss

1600 3s with t1 weps and a 3-1 w/l does not make them *good*

Shuriken Toss is so amazing for combat, but I agree: the main issue is how unreliable Killing Spree is.

On my wishlist:
Glyph of Killing Spree: Your Killing Spree does XX% less damage but only hits your target.

for engineers isn't the proc trinket better than the on use now?

you will always have the engi gloves for every dance, and if you can align the proc its more burst than before on a potential 1 min cd.

the only main drawback I see is the proc being rng (20 sec duration, 45 sec ICD) so you wont be able to line it up for every single dance but I guess at worst it buffs sustained damage?

Rogues seem to be doing pretty good atm only problem is KFC raping them due to healing nerf now.

How about mages who kill us in 1 deep freeze? Or ferals... or shadow priests or... death knights or... (few more).
All in all, Rogues are good unless they meet another dps... :P

We just need a defense buff in my opinion, I rather not gem resil to pass 2200. I did RLS about two weeks ago to 2100 and started hitting T2 teams and they would just shit on me due to the dmg increase. I've noticed most rogues that are passed 2200 are in a 2200 RBG team and I'm not about to try and farm RBG in Darkspear with Horde just to get my weapon when 30 games tops should be enough to get me my T2.

warriors, mages, spriests, and ferals still way ahead of them

really tho, all rogues really need is a fairly small buff to mobility and some kind of a defense against getting 100-0 in deeps and shockwaves. small changes in those departments would do so much for the class

Totally agree. Yesterday I hit 2k+ in 3v3 for the first time this season (I KNOW... BIG DEAL, right? :P), playing with Lock and Hpala. Had some resi stacked and feint glyphed (due to elusivness). First time I don't pre-feint deep or shockwave, I am basically dead. Eventually I sit in nova when they kill my teammates. Mobility + Survivability - that's what we need. Burst is more than enough I would say.

As Prep, you have way more than enough mobility, Double cloak, double vanish, double evasion, but not a lot of people seem to realize this. I always use prep over ShS due to the mobility it offers. Vanish snare, cloak fear, so on. Try it out over ShS imo. I feel like I can do so much more with prep as sub over ShS when it comes down to it.

BUT I completely agree on a defense buff. We get shit on in threes so easy. Those team names Sneeze on Rogue He dies are so true.

Also, remove dmg from shockwave. It's a stun that does 90k. So stupid.

Hmm... I was recently thinking about going Prep spec, but still I am not sure. I wish there was second smoke bomb as well :P

What scares me from taking Prep is the opener... Sap -> Ooops... :P

Sprint > Sap? and open quicker than ever! And if you play Sub correctly and get your cc chain correctly, one smoke bomb is more than enough. I can take some one half way easily by myself with SHD up and my partner I rely on to take him the other half :P Not just that, I've noticed that as a rogue this season, you have to keep on offensive during your cds. If you don't have SHD or Prep, kite the living hell out of the other team because a rogue on defensive is going to die. So with prep, it just allows you to keep pressure on the other team a lot more for reasons I have said above.
