Yes, damn that 1 minute cooldown blind (that it was 3 minutes in itself weas retarded concidering all the other instant cc's in the game, isnt rogue suppose to be the "locking down a target, annying pos class") allthough 1 minute might be a bit overkill, 1,5 or 2 mins would probably be better.

Edit: Reduce cd on vanish now and I'm a happy panda.

If we're going to talk about what was needed to keep in line with other classes, then yes blind reduced to 1 min was needed. However, this is just further proof of blizzard's direction they want to take this game in which leaves about 6-7 seconds of control over your character before the arena match is over because the nondruid healer is dead

Rogue - Blind should be 2 minutes, Shadowstep should be something that every rogue gets and shouldn't be a talent and give rogues back Cold Blood.

Yeah, I mean I have no problem with buffing rogues, but there shouldnt be more cc.

Double Shockwave CD (make it 30 or 40 seconds for nonprot warriors), add that if youre blanket silenced, you cant be blanketed again for 20seconds, remove pummel silence, fear and sheep same dr, increase cd on scatter trap and put aoe fear from the warrior back on 2 or 3min cd.

The only class that needs cc buffs are priests, remove psyfiend shit and give psychic horror to all priests (or something similar).

At the current damage state, where you can barely heal even while spamming heals, there is no need for ccs. And while we're at it, increase res by like 20% and nerf heal by 20%.

I would be cool with a 30 minute cooldown on blind as long as we could have prep and shadowstep, and a slight buff on out of dance damage.

Lower Sprint CD is always nice, but I think Vanish needs a similar treatment as well.

Wound Poison damage increase? Meh, at least now people won't be using much Deadly Poison except for Mutilate.

We are on the same page on this, if all these where implemented the game state would have been so much better right away.
Apparently balancing to the wow developers is way harder than rocket science because they fail so fucking much all the time.

While we are at buff/nerfs, make vanish 2min cd and increase the priest/rdruid vanish to 2min cd aswell, ty !.

To me, the Cold Blood idea might be a cool idea to integrate back into the game, although I don't feel like its absolutely necessary right now for rogues to have. In my opinion, blizzard should make the following changes to rogues

- Having blind reduced to a 1 minute cooldown doesn't really address the issues that rogues have right now. Making it 2 minutes would leave it at a good spot.

- Most rogue can agree that mobility is severely lacking for us. Therefore, making Shadowstep a baseline ability might be a great solution to this.

- Although rogue damage is low at the moment, I think this issue eventually resolves itself when rogues become more and more geared. Getting damage buffs right now would eventually make us too strong.

- This just leaves survivability. I have stuck with rogue this whole season so far. I have done arena at a somewhat high rating in all 3 brackets and rbgs. From this, and watching rogue streams and gameplay, I have noticed that the amount of damage that we are taking right now is quite high and unpreventable (being instantly stunned by shockwaves, deep freezes, etc). In some cases, we are losing about 70% of our health in mere seconds to classes that are not using their big cooldowns. Honestly, I would prefer that some of the other classes be toned down, but if they aren't going to be, then we should be given some kind of protection against insane burst. One possible suggestion is bringing back Quick Recovery (all healing effects on you are increased by X%) and placing this passive ability in the slot of Shadowstep in the talent tree. This would in turn, also make recuperate worth using slightly more, since it is rather weak in PvP right now. A second possible passive ability that could be place in the Shadowstep slot is to bring back Nerves of Steel (decreases the damage taken while under the effects of Stun or Fear by X%).

TLDR - Blind 2min cooldown instead, Shadowstep baseline ability, Quick Recovery and/or Nerves of Steel in place of Shadowstep talent.

Nerves of Steel or something similar does sound quite appealing. All this talk of Blind CD/mobility/damage issues are extremely important, but not much has been said about how squishy we really are. I like.

my 2 cents:

-Blind 2 mins
-Vanish 2 mins
-Shadowstep 16 secs base line ability
-Talent tier should look like: BOS - Prep - Some survival CD (Nerves of steel or something)

This would force us to either take the survival CD or play abit more like we did when running high PvE Gear.


Edit: Also fix Subs rotation, Make Hemo count for sang vein or put energetic recovery back on recoup or both!

the more i try to arena(which doesnt last long due to raging) it just becomes more and more apparent how outdated we are and how much i actually believe that blizzard's design philosophy for us going into to MoP was: "so rogues are pretty op right now. lets just keep them where they are at and just force them to choose between certain abilities they already have. It should sort it self out and make them balanced."

so many things are just so outdated. faerie fire and lengthy dots make it impossible to restealth effectively and right now stealth is needed more than ever as out of stealth we might as well be a warrior with res sickness.

the changes I would like to see:

MUCH shorter CD on vanish. 1.5-2min
sstep baseline
OR
sstep reduced CD to 12-16 seconds
BoS 30 energy cost

..just to name a couple.

I really don't understand how DKs get a working cheat death and we're still stuck with an extremely unreliable one. Warriors also got a better version of evasion.
