Deadly Throw is horrendous, agreed. Everything about it is either outdated, missing a key element, or requires far too much.

I don't think Imp. Recup needs to be brought back to the game. Even if it were at a more balanced level than previously, I do not want it. Rogues survivability is in the gutter, but this isn't the answer. We don't need to keep up any more finishers than we already do. We need some kind of passive defense in the form of a Nerves of Steel type talent. Dying in stuns is our biggest problem right now on the D-side, and that should correct it.

Please do not give us more finishers to have 100% up time in order to be effective.

I don't think is a Rogue problem.

Its every class in the game,the amount of CC. Take Shaman Restoration for Example,Roots,Stun etc. That's hilarious.

The Dispell CD. Everything is just fuck up. I've never seen anything like that.

I'eve never cared of Arena or High rated just getting gear to play with my IRL friends but now i can't do Random Bg's can't kill nothing or can't follow nothing everything escape from me :angry:,and i'm CC'ed all the time,they'are playing with me like the dog with a little ball :(  .

the fact that every single class in this game has acquired something new in the release of MoP whether it be a cc ora stun when a rogue LOSES something that it has had since the incarnation of Arena, then yes something is majorly wrong with rogues.

a last tier talent that replaces throw... that does 5k damage. i dont need to tell you to compare it to that ability which increases damage by 20% and provides freedom for as long as an entire series of emmerdale

Im a person who would never reroll, always played rogue since 04 and tbc in arena. But now, in this fucking horrendous state of the game, I was forced to reroll to my old alt DK. Guess I have to play DK then. I dont see any solutions to Rogues unless they seriously revamp the whole class.

Dmg nerf -fair, Blind 1,5 min cd -sweet, Step 24 sec CD(no changes)- DOGSHIT compared to other classes (for example warrios 12 sec charge)
I really hope there will be some more changes to come, I dont think these changes will have a big impact on Rogue Arena viability,
Mobility is still to shit.

Btw, anyone getting owned by crippling never procc and end up getting kited since shiv is 10 sec cd? fucking retarded, why should we as a mele have a rng slow? Fucking dumb give waylay back or something, this is just retarded, enough of the rng allready

The fail rate of crippling shiv and the nerf of the slow itself causing it to be overly difficult to get behind anything makes me wonder if I'd be better off using nothing but hemo, it'll be better for keeping up the constant finishers needed to do any damage as well...Sure it does less, but our sustained sucks so bad I'm sure I wouldn't notice.

Anyone else noticing on live that shiving paralitic rarely roots or adds stacks when it lands? Im having a lot of games where Its completely nonresponcive for the purposes of shiving it lately.

just getting points every week at a fairly weak cap(2k 3's) in hopes that we will get some changes in the near future. if nothing is in the works or even looks like it will eventually be looked at, I will just play a warrior next season.

the main theme here, as many of us have already stated, is mobility and outdated cooldowns.

-3 min evasion: if it were to stay at 50% dodge for 15 sec, this should be a 1.5min cd.
-3 min vanish: with the state of the game right now with long duration dots/faerie fire, vanish cd needs to be 1.5 min and should also be usable with faerie fire on.
-some kind of anti-stun talent that gives dmg reduction during stuns, but isnt op
shadowstep baseline(if they do not want to make it baseline, the cd needs to be reduced, and that entire teir reworked)

if the above changes were made, I don't think we could complain about much. our dmg is fine, and with said changes, our survivability and mobility would be up to par with how a melee leather user should have

I doubt they will make Step baseline. Having a hard time beliving that they would replace step with something els, they dont care that mutch

anyone been playing combat at all?

Just tried it out in 2s and the 8 second kidney mixed with nerve strike was really effective at shutting down the opposing teams damage, plus shadow blades with adrenaline rush was pretty decent damage, killing spree is also still pretty decent if you can land it on a single target.

Going to try combat as well, since x2 slow is better and I miss swords.

Been playing combat since xpac started for the better utility. Suffers from the same drawbacks as other specs (weak combo point builders, energy starved) but Rupture is less important to keep up (I rarely bother with it) and finishers can still be almost as respectable as Subtlety.

Killing spree is probably the strongest rogue cooldown atm with two slow weapons at 30% insight, and blade flurry in RBGs with paralytic poison can be pretty funny.

Reforge Haste > mastery > crit
