Official Blizzard Quote:

Healing and shielding effects applied to players that have been involved in PvP combat are now reduced by 15% .

Not the correct fix.

Yes nerf the BM hunter pet healing that's what is totally making arena so imbalanced <_<.

I find it funny how they found this to be a soloution to fix pvp, instead of resetting mmr and teams =)

LETS NERF HEALING IN PVP, THAT'LL MAKE THEM HAPPY!

All this is going to do is make retarded comps like KFC even stronger as now even the tier-1 healers are going to struggle to heal through it.

As for how this affects Disc..

Actually it was necessary since one crit as a healer leads to at least 60% of a player's HP.

Now they have to nerf the DPS part...

Ok they could have done this before this fix but hey, let's believe in Bli² one more time (just to get deceive once again)!

actually i dont know why your complaining, theres something fucked up with healers topping everyone in 1 cast, my shamy crit me for 370k, this is even worse than in cata where shamies were pumping those 100k+ ghws, nobody likes seeing to drop some1 to 10% to then get topped up in 1 global....

if they reduce healing, perhaps healers will struggle and they will soon reduce dmg aswell by 15% which would actually be really good and slowerpaced

as for how discs are doing, they were shit before the nerf already

no its about some bugs that makes arena unplayable
healers should have good heal, and be able to heal a lot, you should only win because of good cc chains (not 1 fear -> gib)
hybrid healing and bugs (pets ignoring resil) are the huge problems right now

and the huge amount of instantcc is also a big problem
tuning down healers will only increase the zergfest

They should remove cooldown stacking like Reck + Avatar & Bestial Wrath + Stampede imo like they removed Deadly calm + Reck in Cata.

I think that would work well togheter with this healing change

Maybe a 30% healing nerf once BM hunters/warrs burst and mage burst toned down a bit, so that healers actually have to cast and theres a chance to inteurpt and score kills.

Also maybe 50% healing nerf for hybrids or something needs to be done so they go oom from healing.

Blizzard's mentality is the same as people who think taking away guns would stop people from killing each other.  Getting sick of this.

Any idea if this was hotfixed on the 8th or if this only took effect after the realm restarts? Did some arena yesterday and it was super tight keeping people alive vs the usual kfc's/tsg's etc so a 15% nerf since then is going to hurt.

I know the fix is in now, i just wasn't checking the numbers that closely last time.

Well healers already have to cast... If you don't see them do it, you're doing smthing wrong.
But yeah I don't understand Blizzard staff, they're always doing the opposite of what the whole community is exepecting...
Disappointing, again... and again... and again...

Well healing definitely needed to be lowered. But it didn't need to be lowered without changing warrior/hunter burst. Hopefully those changes are coming.

Hybrid healing needs to have a higher penalty on it as well. That shit is dumb.

I say make avatar and reck not stackable. Change avatar to 10% damage and 20% crit. 10 sec duration. 1 min cooldown. Keeps the snare immunity. Also take gag order off of pummel, but keep it on heroic throw. Nerfing the burst though, there needs to be some increases to our static damage.

Change stampede to double the duration. Half the damage of the pets.

Sadly, it's going to promote more of this. With all the added CC via stuns/interrupts/snares/silences etc that were introduced in MoP, it's going to be VERY HARD for healers to keep themselves up with this change. Too many ways to stop casts imo.

I do think there healing needed to be lowered, but not without changing the heavy damage dealing classes at the moment. It's hard to find a line between the two at this point in time, the way damage is being dealt.

I agree with basically all of the above.

So now they just need to change hybrid healing, stampede damage, taste for blood giving 200k fucking crits and spell steal spam.

Oh and disc priests.
