Also regarding metas
http://www.wowhead.com/item=76888 432spirit & 3% crit dmg
http://www.wowhead.com/item=76885 216int & 3% crit dmg
We have always used the later meta but now non base stat's are doubled making it a possible option now, what's everyone's opinion on that.
I think the first meta is rather for PvE to reach your hitcap easier, in PvP tho i think we don't need it as i got my hitcap so far quite easily without really reforging hit. However it is definitely a possible choice if you need hit and dont want to reforge off haste/mastery.

The math that guy has done are old and not that valid because it's just too simple how he does the mathematics.
In a Patchwork fight it does a bit more but can't tell the right value for this patch.
Back in August ( your post is from August) it was about 526 -180 = 346 and someone has
done a simulation at release where it was even a bit stronger at about 553 -180 = 373
Tailoring is even getting stronger with mutlidotting, also as you mentioned it's always good when it proccs for more burst or higher dot ticks with an exception of getting cc'ed then it's completly wasted. ( Don't forget that dispel has 8 sec cd so you are more cced !)
But anyway 30 int is nothing. The better question is what you take as 3rd stat: mastery or crit
I'll stick to mastery since it helps getting more instants casts.

As you also mentioned it is nice for proccs to get faster 3x orbs with high burst and vt ticks for mana. On the other hand it's shit when you have to offheal since a crit could safe a life.
Edit: Totally forgot that mastery gets better with multidotting.

http://warcraft.twin...nts_550x100.png - You only got a breakpoint @9,99% after that you got 24,92%, which you won't be able to get in s12.
It's your choice tbh to reforge haste into mastery/crit, what suites you better for your setup/playstyle or go with max haste.

from a pve/theorycraft perspective, crit is actually better than mastery after haste, although the mana return on double VT ticks still seems worthwhile...Going to try it for a while and see how I feel about it.
EDIT: also the mastery ticks proc instants, so I guess in pvp its not worth losing. Not sure =\
