Is it just me, or does no one else think that purgeable earth shield will completely screw shamans over in arena this season?  Discuss.

Fairly new to this expansion, but if earthshield still has 9 stacks and resto shamans still have riptide and earthliving then this is a buff to resto shamans.

The whole Earth Shield stack goes in 1 dispel.

haha, id lovvvve for it to be only 1 stack at a time but that would be way too op for dispell protection.  As it stands right now, as emokid said, earth shield is fully purged off with 1 purge.  I feel like its going to kill shamans..  ES isn't cheap enough to just keep reappying every 5 seconds.

Btw, does anyone know if the pandaren racial share DR with hex? Since incapacitate spells are in the Disorient category and so is hex? Just wondering.

Almost positive the panda racial DR's hex. Earth shield being purgable really won't be so bad. Being a 9 purge is overpowered, being unpurgable is overpowered; this is the only option. I'm positive that shaman will be a very competitive healer.

There is going to be so much damage going out in all directions that opposing healers most likely won't have time to purge earth shield seeing as the GCD will be so important to use on something else.

Idk, im still leveling and the only level 90 pvp i saw was Vanguards shaman getting 1 shot (literally) by a hunter and 9 hunter pets.

Yeah its annoying. i remember when they released cata they specifically changed it so it cant be dispelled. Now they changed it back. Blizz are weird.

they nerfed earth shield healing as well. i remember it was at least 10k+ healing each stack as 140k hp pool last season vs 6k healing each stack as 400k hp pool this season.
