First of all: No promises that I will take any of the questions you post.

Tomorrow we will do a live interview with Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street for ArenaJunkies, focussed on PvP of course. While I already have about 25 questions and these will pretty much fill the time-frame we have, I would like to give the community the possibility to write their questions. Ghostcrawler recently stated that he reads "all major community forums" and so chances are he will actually read this very thread. I will maybe take in some of the ones you ask and replace current ones.

Please be polite and don't post hate-stuff or we will have to close and moderate the topic. Now shoot and show that the WoW community has great input for the devs.

Delete psyfiend and frost bomb, blood fear, along with hybrid healing in form of a question.

- Frost bomb shouldn't be one of those abilities like smoke bomb where you have to use multiple cooldowns to survive/prepare for it.

Why can't they upgrade the rewards for a competitive arena player?

Thus motivating new players to play competitive and have a bigger competition

Rating decay in teams, it needs to be done that simple.

any chance to have "vetos" or "thumbs down" for arenas on ladder play, even if it's just one map?

i think the vast majority of people seriously dislike Ring of Valor.

I think a better question would be is there even a pvp balance team anymore and if so are they aware that world of warcraft has an arena pvp system

Why don't they introduce rating decay and polish the matchmaking system in general? There's rating decay WC3 and SC2, why not in WoW?

A corrupted matchmaking system and very long queues even on low/average ratings for no apparent reasons take away a lot from the fun of playing arena, more than all the imbalances in the game combined. Rating decay would solve low activity on the high end of the ladder, AS WELL as combat boosting because you won't be able to just park a character/team in glad range and be done with it (increase the decay if there's less than 3 players in the team, too).

And question number two, why does 5v5 still grant titles? For the past few years people have only used that bracket to quite literally farm rank 1 titles - sharing and getting it for as many friends as possible.

Make a suggestion/why they can't/haven't made the que time shorter to connect to different battlegroups. This will make it harder for people to wintrade and it will make the game a lot more fun since you spend more time in arena than sitting in elwyn forest waiting for que to pop. It also makes it harder for people to snipe different teams and will give you some comp diversification.

Do they have any new ideas for this upcoming season about changing how MMR works or team rating works? It's really unforgiving to play with other players that may not be very good and results in a lot of inactivity on the ladder due to limitation of teams and teammates. It is currently turning a MMO into a who do you know and who do you play with for arena because it is a reward based ladder.

Why you deleted skirmish ? It was a very major thing in the game, for us, pvp players.
Skirmish were much MORE used than wargames.

I really want them back in the game like a lot of players.

Ask him why Blizzard hasn't thought of this yet:

Add real money prices to pvp ladderplay / for pve champs, like

rank 1 prize: 5000e
rank 2 prize  2500e
rank 3 prize 1000e
rank 4-10 prize 500e etc.

And some pve champ could design the pve prize system

They are idiots if they don't see how good of a business idea it is for them.

-It would bring them huge amount of more customers --> And that way more $$$ (Blizzard mainly has $$$ in mind anyways)
-Top players don't need to boost others for money anymore; they can just play to rank 1 on every BG and get some cash that way. -Boosting problem = solved
-Would even up the competition on every BG.

PS: Ghostcrawler doesn't understand anything that is related to pvp anyways so why even bother asking stuff related to that.

Any thoughts about a soloqueue system for 3v3 arenas(like in LoL, DotA, HoN)? You just queue up and get people in your MMR range, teams will always be healer/melee/range. You might lose because of retards in team but if you are good enough you will eventually move up in Rating.

Was there any thought put into Totemic Restoration and it's PvP implications?

As it stands right now Shamans can destroy their own totems to shorten the cooldown. If this is nerfed Grounding and Tremor Totem will still always have half of their normal cooldowns do to being able to "replace" the totem. IE I drop Tremor Totem then drop Earthbind, I use two global cooldowns but I have a 35 second cooldown Tremor Totem. Grounding Totem is in the same boat because it will almost always be destroyed within 2 seconds of being dropped.

I assume this talent was intended to help make up for having totems such as Healing Tide and Mana Tide killed. Not give Shamans 35 second Tremor and 14 second Grounding Totem(again).
