Your shit looks pretty good to me, missing a few pieces of cata but nothing that would be game breaking.  Healers and hybrids are crazy at the moment, I can't drop a geared healer through Hots at the moment.

Yeah I was looking forward to survival for Entrapment mostly, but black arrow being (as far as I know) a significant portion of your damage and sharing CD with explosive trap is pretty stupid.

I'm pretty sure this is just something they overlooked.  They made them share CD a long ass time ago for legitimate reasons (i'm sure..) but it's outdated and needs to be reverted now that it's just explosive trap (which is now a pure utility trap when glyphed and 100% useless when not glyphed).

Black Arrow should not even have a cooldown in my opinion. Given that it's a heavy portion of Survival's damage, being limited in switching as well as the stuff you mentioned is stupid, definite oversight.

Not going to lie, I do want to have access to a multi-dotting magic-based spec as well.....not that that would be overpowered, it would be something that Survival needs to become a competitive spec, and it would be a unique option in gameplay for Hunters.

edit: also on another note, with TotH I was literally able to spam 40 Arcane Shots before I ran out of focus. I'm also stacking mastery and make sure I have the buff+wind serpent, I've been top damage every BG(I know that doesnt mean much but its all I got).

But I should say 40 arcane shots would be enough incentive to get people to try the spec right? I'm not exaggerating about that number by the way. Thrill procs so much and AS is deadly as Survival.

Rogues are going to ANNOY the shit out of me this season. they have a passive 33% dodge chance.

Not to mention the fact that they cant literally train you in arena if your playing MM.
Also not to mention when concussive shot gets dodged.

Was playing vs some Spriest/rogue/rsham and they killed my pet in about 0.5 sec, then the rogue would sit on me the WHOLE game, with me unable to do anything.

Was streaming yesterday and a rogue dodged 4 scatter shots in a row, without evasion up. Also uncountable concussive shots.

I pretty much reforged everything to expertise, i have 10%ish chance now to not get a dodged attack. I have no idea about numbers/caps for this thought so yeah.

So this is only on beta from the looks of it, but it still confuses me. Survival is currently simmed at the second worst DPS in the game, why would there even need to be compensation nerfs to Imp SS and Black Arrow. Especially what is essentially a %25 nerf on serpent sting for Survi. (note: my math may be...no is probably wrong, but you get the point)

I guess I'll have to see how Explosive is hitting, but this doesnt really make sense imo.

i dont get why dodge started to work like this vs us, i mean it never has? is it cause we lost our deadzone? i mean dodging a bullet makes less sense than dodging a frostbolt imo, since the bullet moves faster! ;P

They really need to fix hunters.
Bm is so retardedly overpowerd on beta its not even funny.
You can just kill everyone in pretty much 3sec through all their cds, meanwhile marks and survival is a joke dmg wise.

Agreed,

BM seems to be clearly ahead in pve and pvp.  If surv and mm aren't viable specs I'm going with a different class for MOP.

It sounds to me like he's mocking the question.  He's acknowledging that he knows problem is with BM burst w/ CDs, not the utility the spec provides.  

Better follow up question should have been if he plans to bump down BM damage or bump up surv/mm.
