so are u guys in frost presence when playing unholy aswell or is it just me ?

do you consider going glyph of shifting presence just for survival or are ams, icytouch and strang too good ?

Exactly this. Dk's need at least one more CC, and it would nice if strangulate will be taken off gcd and not using a rune.

dk need:

Death advance passive skill.
Strangulate 1 min cd,out of  gcd and no rune cost.
Pillar of frost no rune cost.
Instant stun :D
+20% healing recived

don't be a lopez 2.0. DK may not be in lol rogue status, we still have alot of problems with mobility and outdated mechanics like 2 min strangulates in the world of ccraft

Our survivability isn't great but damage is over the top and not even being complained about; as far as strangulate goes yes it's shitty but you can take asphyxiate against more than 50% of teams


by the way has anyone else been having their lichborne bug out and only let you heal for the first few seconds of the duration?

I don't think someone whos playing tsg/phd at 2k rating with 58% w/l should be giving any input on class balance tbh

It's not hard to understand that dk mechanics are outdated right now, just compare some of our abilities to other classes and amount of cc they got in mop and maybe you get the picture.

take asphyxiate and lose chillblains or deaths advance which are too major to lose, only time i'd ever take asphyxiate would be running something like scleave vs certain comps. blinds becoming a 1 min cd strang probably should too were meeh outside of tsg and phd and thats just because of how good those two classes are atm

dk is fine, better nerf other classes instead of buffing dk... glyph of swifting presence or dark sim (idc which one) should be baseline so you can actually play with strang glyph again

With the recent stampede nerf, this should really help dks. Considering a lot of our trouble surviving was mostly versus KFC andother hunter cleaves, this should make other dk comps like TSG pretty strong.

Played some tsg yesterday with 2.2 people and already seeing the profit of hunters nerfs. Haven't lost to a single hunter team yet.

Hi fellow Dks.
First of all I bought MoP late and I wasnt even playing for a few months towards the end of S11 so I was not following the changes in MoP beta. My gear is quite bad I just manage to get t1 weapon and I only have 2 Malevolent pieces.. Anyway I've got a few questions about DK arena.

First one is what are the viable setups for DKs nowdays (3v3 ofc) because I cant even check the ladders with all these 30% win/loss teams at 2.8k. I'm not talking about just the T1 setups if there is any but any setup wich is viable at higher ratings if played well.

Second is the spec. Frost is looking better at first glance but I was playing some BGs and unholy did just fine aswell there.
Also I'm not quite sure what glyphs should I use. Looks like Icy Touch glyph is a must and Shifting Presence is pretty useful aswell and I like to have Dark Sim too (btw is there a new "bug" with Dark Sim because now even when you use it you have to stay still not just when you cast the stolen spell like in Cata), although I really think Strangulate glyph is needed.

Third question is about Death's Advance vs Chilblains. Obviously the constant slow is really good I just wonder if it wouldn't be better with DA (maybe DnD glyph) so you could stick onthe target better when you are bursting or when you needto flee.

ps What are the best PvP servers nowdays (Horde) ?
