It's a pretty worthless degree because the school has a 98% acceptance rate.

community colleges don't even have a 98% acceptance rate. lols i'd called you elitist, but you only got in to boston. :P

not sure about the hate/love about ASU. it's a pretty decent school all around when considering state uni's. generally speaking the college isn't a hood or 'college town' like many of the other US uni's out there, instead of blacks you generally have more mexicans, and because it's AZ you have to deal with cops a bit more ruthless towards drug possession. Pretty average.

U of A is a decent school too, that doesn't cancel out the fact that it's located in Arizona.

90.5%, my bad. So much more prestigious. And Northeastern's one of the fastest rising schools in the ranks in the country. We're up to 62 now and we'll be top 40 by the time I graduate.

We get more applications than any other private school in the country for a reason.

I like my school but I do not want OP at my school.

@OP: My school sucks don't come here.

And yeah Northeastern is pretty sweet imo. Though they are having a housing shortage atm :\

Not an issue for me ;P One of the guys I room with is a military kid, so he gets priority housing and gets to add us as roommates.

Oh, nice, that makes it a lot easier.

A few of my friends who were high school seniors this year were going to go to Northeastern, but Northeastern actually told them that they don't have housing and my friends would have to spend their first semester (1 friend might've been told the entire year) abroad, which isn't something my friends want to do at all. One of them is going for nursing and her only options were Costa Rica or Greece :\

So a few of them chose other schools instead. I've spoken with some of them and they are happy with their choices, but it still sucks that they couldn't go with their first option / really even consider Northeastern. Going abroad is a bigger deal for some people than others, personally I don't think I would've liked to go abroad (at least to those destinations) my first semester at University. So yeah.

Your friends lied to you hardcore lol. They didn't get in for fall semester and instead of just sitting around with no credits till Spring, they get offered to go abroad.

Not for winter term. I have like 6 friends that had the same thing. They were not accepted as normal term students, they have a deferred acceptance to start spring semester, but Northeastern tries to give them class credit - instead of having them sit around doing nothing for 4 months - by sending them abroad.

Kelutsu goes to a RISING amazing university as he's said many times. Don't forget to keep your eye on this RISING amazing university.

Can't wait for the university to actually be worth the tuition when this rising fresh university becomes a superpower in the private slightly above average realm.

Considering we have the top rated career services department, pretty sure we're good on that, thanks, though. Having two job offers waiting for me after my sophomore year isn't half bad, either.

I know of 5 people that had the exact same emails/programs they had. I go to the school that offers those programs. I know you hate me and you love to try to poke holes in any kind of arrogant argument I make, but I know this as a fact. They don't offer the first semester abroad program for students that get in for fall semester. It's a deferred acceptance program to keep students at least a little bit up to par on their credits.

I think our engineering and business programs would beg to differ. As would our career services department. And the fact that we're the most applied to private school in the country. And that our average incoming freshman was in the top tenth of their graduating class.
