The Arena Pass Service shall last for approximately 6 weeks, and will commence on April 24, 2012 at approximately 10:00 AM, Pacific Daylight Time (7:00 PM CEST) (subject to ‘Server Maintenance’ to be performed by Blizzard), and end on June 5, 2012 at 1:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (June 5, 2012, 10:00 AM CEST) (subject to ‘Server Maintenance’ to be performed by Blizzard). The first two weeks of the Ladder Phase of the Arena Pass Service will be a “practice” period, and during this time Arena Pass participants may switch from one team to another without that Arena Team being penalized. After the “Practice Period,” all Arena Rating points will be set to 0, and Arena Teams shall compete to earn an Arena Rating based on their participation in 3 vs. 3 matches held in the “Arena Player vs. Player Battlegrounds” on the Arena Pass Realms. During the two weeks immediately following the end of the Practice Period, if a player switches from one Arena Team to another, the Arena Team that the Player switches to will have its Arena Rating penalized by subtracting 150 points from its Arena Rating. During the last two weeks of the Arena Pass Service, players cannot switch Arena Teams.

No additional awards will be made available at this time. The second phase of the Arena Pass is to provide a fun sandbox environment to test your skills in Mists of Pandaria.

@Critmåster: The realm will be brought up on April 24th, and that is when the practice phase will begin.

If there is no top 8 qualifier, I'm  not sure I see the point.

Pay $20 to do the exact same stuff as you do on live, but without any potential rewards?

You're literally paying to play on a sandbox.

yeah, but without legendaries, cunnings, vial, triple DPS with 2pc PvE, etc

That's not solid enough evidence it was there when it was still saying 2011 ATR,its 99.99% gonna be s11 gear its just takes time to update and atr is still not around so..-.-
