I'm shamelessly promoting my bachelor project. Please take a few minutes to try it out and do the survey.
Doesn't matter if you give harsh feedback as long as you're honest, I'm not graded on the commercial success of this program so please be honest.

Thanks!
If you like it, please help spreading it by posting on Facebook, Twitter etc.
Cheers,

Neither 2.5 nor 2,5 seemed to work.

Edit: The bug you mentioned is only present in the applet version, but has now been fixed. Thanks for pointing that out

Thanks for replying! Have you installed the Java plugin for Firefox? Math Dash is made in Java and uses Java to run.
Check this link for more information: http://www.java.com/...ine_install.xml
I would love if you downloaded the full version as well! It's really lightweight (it will download instantly)
Thanks!

Try to minus only one and one number, so if f.ex 28-16, then first take away 1 from 2, leaving you with 1, then take away 6 from 8, leaving you with 2. Concatenate 1 with 2 and you get 12

When it gets to adding and subtracting 3 numbers that are 100+, I just use a calculator =P
What is the project supposed to achieve btw?

Thanks for playing. It's a game, my hopes were that you had fun playing while improving your mental math skills. It is however perfectly reasonable to conclude that you were not having fun or that you did not like it, if this is your perception please fill out the survey and tell me what could be done differently
Thanks!

Just played and survey'd and I lost to 19/4 because 4.75 was not an acceptable answer.

Thanks, I apologise for the bugs. Not very professional. I really thought I had fixed it but it appears I missed it. It _should_ be fixed now.

another bug, 50/4 = 12.5 but it again does the same thing as the previously mentioned bug.
The answer ended up being 12, which I think means you are using an int when you should be using double?(not sure not a programmer)

Yes that's correct, using a double would solve the problem. However I'm trying to make it so that problems like that shouldn't appear, I'm using a preset sequence of dividend and divisor numbers, which should theoretically make problems like that go away. However it seems not to be working, but I will try to work that out.
As always, I appreciate it the feedback. Keep it coming

Open source? Post code and finding bugs would be more of a fun game imo.

#2 is a pwn answer
#3 math rules
#4 yea it was fun
#5 i think that was the thing that said i got a bonus like time froze, right? if it was that, that was cool. special bonuses were mad dank for real
#6 yea it did, so keep track of a few high scores maybe if you can or display the last score or some shit
#7 idk man my math skills are fine, ive done all the calcs, difEQ, linear algebra, and much other math so it didnt really improve it. it's just something fun to do to see who's quick @ really basic math
#8 it depends. flashing shit on the equations & numbers was fucking annoying and distracting. if it made sounds when you got bonuses like the time froze, or the level difficulty went up or noises for relevant notifications. that'd be cool. but yea flashing shit on the equations looks fucking GAY DUDE. it distracts me and i space out and stare at a wall instead. im just like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is this supposed to end or what?
over all good game
