Bluepost answer on problems in PvP

There have been many players trying to get a response from Blizzard by trying to make a wall of text about PvP and apparently someone has succeded.
Hope it won't stop here. Some of the points the OP listed are pretty obvious for most top players, as they have been requested for the last few years now, but I hope Blizzard actually does something about them now. (e.g. instant ccs, instant heals etc)

Yeah, but its not really better than nothing... it's just their PR team trying to draw attention to the fact that they acknowledge these types of posts, and to avoid the fact that they really aren't doing anything about it.
The simple fact that remains is that roughly 10% of the WoW player community focus on Arena PvP, and Blizzard don't have the time or resources, nor would it be economically responsible to accurately read, conceptualize, and fix these kinds of issues.
WoW will forever be a casual-player catered game, as the other 90% aren't competitive Arena PvPers. It's much easier for Blizz to focus on keeping that 90% happy, not our 10% playing this game to earn more money.
I don't really have an opinion on this issue, Blizzard wants to keep making money, and faggots still want to slay dragons 9/10 times rather than other players, not much we can do about it.
Keep up the good fight though, junkie brethren.

Do you have any idea how complex the game mechanics of WoW are now? You try balancing 10 classes simultaneously over the course of a number of expansions/patches. The only way i'd be happy with class balance would be if Blizzard reverted to an earlier state of the game, such as BC. Blizz needs to stop adding content and shit and needs to simplify, which is something I hope they will successfully do with the talent redesign in Mists. I was pretty excited for the item and number squish, but alas, they won't go through with it because they suck.
But aside from that, Blizz did just lose a shitload of subs this year, as well as cut back on a few employees... they are struggling, and I doubt its very high on their agenda to cater to the 10% of the players. Although they do have a ridiculous amount of feedback from their players, they still have to test and implement these ideas and integrate changes. They always have to consider PvP and PvE, so when it comes to a major class change, they will usually make 100% sure it keeps PvE class balance fair first, which makes Hybrids and shit like that never truly balanced in PvP, as you can't make their role in PvE translate well into PvP (Ret pallies, ferals, eles, etc).
Idk man, maybe i'm just being a pessimist, but I don't think Arena PvP will ever be reasonably balanced if WoW continues to add patches and expansions (which they will).

That probably takes like an afternoon to do. After they have done those things, they can still reevaluate and see if it helped.
They should just listen to the god damn community (aka good pvpers).

Blizz should sanction someone to troll AJ, as anyone who can post on here has a pretty valid opinion on PvP (most of the time...)
Indeed, I really dont think it would take too much time for 1 blizz dev to read aj for 20minutes a day.

I have been doing the same for half a decade on the official forums, having spent countless hours of contemplation and editing in order to make my posts look appealing both to the eye and the "creative soul" of any developer that could be possibly be reading what I had written . Blizzard never used any of the countless ideas I have posted - on the contrary, it seems Bioware showed more interest in my ideas like taunts in pvp reducing dmg done by players if they are not attacking you by fixed amount, skills working like soul link but based on player action, and interactive skills with different effects in pvp and pve. For your own mental health hope for the best, but expect the worst (which I have the utmost confidence that will given Blizzard's actions in the past), and just adapt to the game the way it is right now. Neither resilience nor MoP nor W/EnextExpIs will fix what is broken, since what is broken is fun for the majority, and you don't belong in the majority.
