I´ve been thinking about it, I mean it could be pritty usefull on these 2 maps if you position yourself and the boxes(sewers) or pillars (nagrand arena).

So basicly whats your guys opinion?

EDIT: was ment to post on warlock...

it can be a clutch move but I honestly am too lazy to do it. Dmg doesn't really matter if you really need to do it to save a teammate.

Damage wont realy be a problem if we are both allowed to freecast while the 2 melee dps run up...
Otherwise it would be one freecasting and the otherone being tunneld.

you asked if it was worth using I say no but you disagree so whats the point of asking then lol.it can be a clutch move in dire situations and the same could be said for imp too.

It's a forum. Meant to use for discussing things. Regardless if he asked for an answer and you provided one, doesn't mean that your answer is correct. And now, if you knew that his(their) damage was fine even with succubus, would this change your answer?

Edit: However, seeing as we do not know what setup you play i'd say it's pretty hard to tell you if it's worth it.

Can't see many cases where it's worth to do, because every melee has gotten so much mobility now that it won't really help you unless theyve wasted charge/leap/step/catcharge/grip already on nothing.

Guess its worth it against Ret paladins.

this is the point I was getting at its not worth losing all the things the puppy brings.

Just soulburn the suc knock them off then hard cast your felhunter back, win.

vs triple dps at least, or a melee cleave if you or your partners are getting shit on

the answer is no because melee cleave can be dealt with by gameplay. if you give up your felhunter you lose a ton of benefits. position yourself better an coordinate with your team more and you will do fine.

i've been using succubus lately vs quite a few teams, and I must, it's pretty nice tbh. it's pretty clutch to throwdown a ret, it takes away alot of their dmg, same with warriors, and classes who uses their jump before the knockdown ;)

play around with it a bit, you need your team to position nicely for it to work as well.

edit: on dalaran/BEM sometimes of course, not all the time.

Situational. One thing people neglect to realize about punting is it not only can be used to knock of melee but also healers can be punted off the back of the boxes while their team is stranded in the middle of the map. I've been using punt since the expansion came out and it's definitely won games, although I personally wouldn't use it EVERY time I queue into a melee cleave.. if you need to just soul burn it.
