you can legit be the best team in the world, and lose to a random triple dps comp for no reason.. just because you don't like the comp RLS doesn't mean triple dps should be allowed.  your opinion is merely a small number in the percentage of the community, and i HIGHLY doubt the majority of everybody else agrees slightly with you.  i cant think of ANYBODY besides holy pally teams that actually enjoy queing into triple dps teams, so why would people enjoy to see 3 random people just zerg down a healer or dps and win because of unhealable damage? i really dont think tahts fair for anybody.  

it seems that only a few people that can even participate in the tournament agree with you and even snutz does, but he is honestly the best warlock in the world running the best RLS too, so he obviously doesn't mind a challenge here and there, but as you can see he might not even play in the tournament, so the playing field seems fair without a triple dps, because as you can see from above, no other RLS can compare to his, so they are beatable.

If that's how you interpreted my post I'm sorry. I'm actually not even sure why you quoted what I said to add your two cents.

Like RLS, RMP, and all the other popular cleaves, triple DPS happens to be a legitimate match-up that can excel. Sure you can argue they are mindless meatballs running forward, but I feel the same exact way against any other counter out there.

Excluding a team make-up because it is different or not as skilled does not seem legit to me.

Imagine yourself for a moment, not playing RLS, and instead playing fre mage/resto druid/enhancement shaman and grounded at 2100 because of how horrible your comp is. Now for some strange reason, you decide to put together a team that has more synergy and shoot up 400 rating. Clearly I'm a bad player and shouldn't be allowed to participate, right? I don't see the logic behind that

Not everyone has access to classes and partners that mesh well together. They make the best of what they have. And if it just so happens to be that they are sporting a high rating like that, why not showcase their game-play?

It's different... It's fun... And most of all, it provides entertainment that people are not accustomed to seeing. If you want this to be based off skill, everyone would be paired against a mirror match.

um... certain classes just dont work well with other classes.. sorry that RLS happens to be maybe the top comp atm with RMP up there.  when you mix classes that have CC that doesn't share DR with other classes CC, they tend to work well together.  sucks that the worst healer atm rdruids cant be used with a shit melee class enhancements with a fire mage.. sucks to suck
stop trying to be completely different and trying a comp you know wont work from the start, if you want to play a ghetto comp for fun go for it.

Hey, yeah we definitely need to do a better job at that.  Unfortunately, there was a sponsor/support mix up last moment, and we had very little prep time to get everything in functional order.  Hopefully it'll be better from here on!

so i was spamming on ATR and live about the NAO tourn on wed.. and ALOT of people had no idea what it was. should def try to spread awareness of the tournament to get higher popularity and more viewers

90% of the 3000 people who use AJ watched the tournament. Cant do much better than that! any extras are a bonus
