Group stage: http://www.wcg.com/r...?gID=G110715105

Single Elimination: http://www.wcg.com/r...?gID=G110715105

Final standings:
1. OMG (Korean PHD)
2. Kimchi Man (Korean RLS)
3. Anarchy (Taiwanese WLS)
4. Team Italy (Italian RLS)
5. EG (US Shadowplay)

To me it is no surprise that Korean teams dominated this tournament. The EU & US teams were just quickly organised teams who just went for a free trip to Korea (at least that's true for the EU team).

Also, EU and US teams didn't have chances to practice, because arenas were closed due to season end the week before WCG started.

About the tournament:
- no live coverage
- no VoDs
- country wise organisation doesn't work in WoW, especially not in EU

I was honestly expecting more from the "World championship in gaming" and the "country of esports".

That's sad I wanted to see this

Edit: why wouldn't they stream or record it? They would've got some money from advertising wouldn't they?

Korea don't like people seeing how shit their country really is and there is regulations over there making them not able to, e.g. they can't go on google that me and you use they have to use something else

Well, Team EG lost every game.

(So did the only EU team, except against Team EG).

WCG was kind enough to allow WoW to be in their lineup when no others would anymore.

At the very least be thankful that there are still some WoW tournaments up and running, which means for a short while we can at least say that WoW isn't on a rapid decline in a competitive scene.

cdew and talbadar were there, but azael is from Canada, so they pick another warlock from US.

Cdew was not there.

Team EG's lineup consisted of Talbadar, Conradical, and Diziet afaik.
