Guys. It's a necro; it was when literally everyone thought hunters were shit.

Just to spare you hunters/anti-hunters from writing an essay.

The only difference in hunters between now and then is that now more people realize the class is shit.

Well I would say resto Druids, but they can easily get carried by a lock x, Warriors are clearly the hardest to play in arena this season. It is the least represented in high arenas and is simply the worst class ATM. Discussion closed, stop trolling and admit that warriors are the worst. Do no damage, 5 minute useless cool downs, no uptime , die in 5 seconds with 5k res.

If you are a hunter and say they suck, you are prolly playing with a warrior and not a feral, dk, or rogue.

Remember blizcon hunters? Stfu

Hunters are fine.

They're not the hardest class to play, but i wouldnt say they're the easiest. Heck even being able to land traps consistantly against good players requires more than playing certain classes

To play a hunter and have accurate CC, I have to not only spec 2 points into it, stack spell pen and cap my spell hit rating, but I also have to max my hit rating IRL, which is something you can't gem for!

And even then, you are hoping you didn't already break your scatter shot from many of the uncontrollable effects, (Vial, the hunter bow proc, mastery proc) or they don't randomly wander off of it during the RNG pathing, or they don't disarm/stun/silence me (even a 1 second long cc is long enough to mess it up), or they don't have a teammate walk on top of it, or they don't have a pet, or I don't lag for a split second causing it to shoot somewhere else, or I don't get death gripped/knocked back while I fire it, causing it to go somewhere else, or...

Yeah, trapping someone really isn't that hard. You kind of just point and click. However, so much can go wrong, especially because you have to use more than one ability to do it. Every time I try to trap someone, I have to hope the stars align.

Hunters aren't hard to play, it is true... But the design completely lacks anything resembling practicality. Playing something that sucks and trying to get the better of something that doesn't IS hard.

If you want to know why hunters are shit, just search "The Hunter Thread" on official forums(US or EU) to find a 10 page list made by me.

Warriors are not an easy class to kill at all.

Warriors are the hardest class to play vs good teams, because the class has the worst mechanics in the game which can be easily exploited by good teams.

dumbest logic ever, warriors might have sucky mechanics but they're still insanely straight forward and easy to play

In current state of the game, definitely hunter. Mages and rogues used to be hard, but anyone can damage with them and win nowadays. Disc priests and resto druids come somewhere close though.

People get 2 button BM hunter @ 1300 rating confused with 10000 button pet swapping MM hunter @ 2700 rating confused fairly often on this forum.

Someone with amazing micromanagement skills can make hunters look effortless. So can some drooler in random bg's playing BM and clicking his pet heal out of his spellbook every cd.

Get some perspective bros.

So true.

It is funny to see all the bad hunters making posts like "BM is totally underrated, I find it better than MM..."etc.

Like, no. Sorry, you are just too bad to play MM properly. Stop saying hunters are fine because you can pwn some dude in a bg as BM. You won't get past 1800 with that spec.

not taking into account spec here is kinda a crime since there are huuuuge differenced between the specs of the same class. And its kinda hard to understand what you are saying, you have to be more specific.

Hard to play at high rating? hard to play in arena/bg? hard to play in most viable comp.
ohh and to those saying rogue. rogue skillCAP is very high, however atm because of current burst the skill floor is also higher then it has ever been for rogues.

Traditionally rouges always have an extremely high skill cap (one of, if not the, highest in the game). Traditionally, rogues tend to have a lower-than-average skill floor as well. To be the best rogue takes an incredible amount of skill, but to be a good rogue, or should I say, good at rogue doesn't.

Rogues have ALWAYS been very powerful, and have ALWAYS had a fairly low skill floor compared to other classes, AND very potent ever since vanilla (With the possible exception of a rogue vs hunter 1v1, roflwtfpwnt).

Right now they are especially potent. Rogues that were bad can now get gladiator, but they will always be terrible if you fought them against a rogue that actually knows what they are doing.

you can say that for literally every class that has ever been op.
the difference between the good ones and bad ones are there, but on the rankings it doesnt matter.
