-------------------------UPDATED FOR 4.3-------------------------

PvE Statweights (4.3):
1. Intellect - 1.0
2. Spellpower - 0.7589
3. Haste - 0.5361
4. Spirit/Hit/Crit - 0.5134
5. Mastery - 0.4792

Before I begin let me talk about trinkets. Even if you plan on using "full pvp gear" it is very advantageous that you attempt to get at least the raid finder version of any of the 3 trinkets.
Cunning of the Cruel > Insignia of the Corrupted Mind > Will of Unbinding.
Other trinkets you may want
Bottled Wishes (1650 Valor Points)
Variable Pulse Lightning Capacitor (normal/heroic Ragnaros)
Darkmoon Card: Volcano (from the AH)
Will of Unbinding would be better than both, but it does not proc on DoTs, so it will just fall off with one CC. If you do not have either of these, Darkmoon Card: Volcano is a decent last resort or you can just wear 5k resil and use double PvP trinkets.

Set 1: Mooncloth High Resil (Standard S11 PvP Gear, No Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286754
Spell Power - 10188
Haste - 22.89
Mastery - 9.78
Crit - 16.16%
Max Mana - 126150
Resilience - 4619

Set 2: Mooncloth High Resil (Standard S11 PvP Gear, Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286798
Spell Power - 10174
Haste - 23.28%
Mastery - 9.78
Crit - 16.13%
Max Mana - 125940
Resilience - 4619

Set 3: Mooncloth Low Resil (Top End PvE Gear, No Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286805
Spell Power - 10501
Haste - 22.37%
Mastery - 9.78
Crit - 15.83%
Max Mana - 128115
Resilience - 4462

Set 4: Mooncloth Low Resil (Top End PvE Gear, Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286810
Spell Power - 10609
Haste - 22.76%
Mastery - 9.78
Crit - 15.99%
Max Mana - 129735
Resilience - 4379

Keep in mind for these two sets you can replace the weapon or trinket(s) to gain a lot more Resilience.

Set 5: Four Piece T13 Low Resil (Top End PvE Gear, No Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286817
Spell Power - 9986
Haste - 27.31%
Mastery - 11.21
Crit - 17.49%
Max Mana - 120390
Resilience - 3334

Set 6: Four Piece T13 Low Resil (Top End PvE Gear, Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=286828
Spell Power - 9949
Haste - 30.79%
Mastery - 11.21
Crit - 18.14%
Max Mana - 120030
Resilience - 2875

There's obviously a lot of ways to go with the last 2 sets, but just throwing out some examples. If you have all that gear I'm sure you can figure something out.

JC/BS for maximum stats because of the new gems~
As usual if you notice any mistakes with gems, enchants, etc please inform me!

I left the S10 values still so you could see the ridiculous scaling that Cataclysm has brought.

Enjoy the updated version!

Well done :)

Q. Why is there no legendary staff included with the PvE gear setups?
A. It was not on the item list for the site. Also, moving towards the hit cap is really annoying when the staff has 350 hit and the ring has 180 hit and the mooncloth chest has 150 hit. If you obtain the staff and all the other items there, then you may want to drop the hit ring for something of a lower item level or just the PvP Ring.

When i get my Legendary i will drop one point in Twisted Faith (so its only 50% spirit conversion) and of course reforge the hit and it should be okay.

Your standard resil-oriented Chardev's are a tad bit below the next available DoT tick (Devo Plague) which is at 20.80% haste (according to EJ: http://elitistjerks...._updated/#Haste).

Maybe change those Intel/resil gems to Intel/Haste and you could snag that rather easily.

I'm probably going to end up using DMC: Volcano as my second trinket because it will improve my mana efficiency significantly on its own (proccing Masochism when the proc is up provides a substantial boost in mana returned, making me able to toss around extra heals and such with very little worry placed on my mana pool).

That's one option. The other, is trying to incorporate this mastery trinket I'm trying to get from the Molten Front dailies that will provide a heavy boost in DoT damage while active (pop trinket, MB, put up really powerful DoTs and watch them tick away).

Alas, I don't have access to any PvE gear, so I'm just going to have to improvise. I'm planning to stay around 3800-4k resil. :D

dusknoir/burial's non-human profile, I think it's 4.00% hit and it's not counting the set bonuses. Also has no resil gems/enchants but that can be easily changed.

I will probably be using this one with more resil...

... unless the dream of the staff comes true, then it's prob gonna be some satin set with staff (but thats unlikely for me :S)

Set 1: Mooncloth High Resil (Standard PvP Gear, No Human)
http://chardev.org/?profile=157421
Spell Power - 8135
Haste - 20.25%
Mastery - 9.49
Resilience - 4367

think i might use this instead for non human

http://chardev.org/?profile=158285
Spell Power - 8156
Haste - 20.69%
Mastery - 8.96
Resilience - 4367
.03% more crit and 315 more mana because of the extra int but .53 less mastery

also thinking about picking up one resil/spell pen gem to get closer to the 255 needed for fel hunters.

might drop something for tailoring too

Tailoring is slightly better than other professions.: Lightweave Embroidery gives 580 Int for 15 seconds, 20% proc on spellcast, 60 second cooldown. The average benefit is around 140 Int, minus the 50 Int you usually have on your cloak, for an increase of around 90 Int

EDIT: the spell power values you posted don't match the ones shown on chardev except for the satin set

currently haste buffs like mind quickening and wrath of air are bugged and give 5% haste PLUS 5% of your current haste. im not sure if chardev accounts for that or not but if chardev doesn't add the 5% of your current haste, then that set will have enough haste for the dp breakpoint

thanks for the posts guys
I was missing some ring enchants so the values will be a bit off for some of the Spell Power so I'll be looking to change that.

If he could transfer that over to chardev, that'd be great. There are too many small bugs with the wowhead profiler to be able to compare them well enough.

This is counted in the chardevs (accounted for current haste too). It also accounted for the 3% haste from Darkness, so he does bring up a very valid point.

btw if you do end up using this, change one gem to int haste for the free devo plague tick!

actually i dont think chardev is calculating haste properly

currently in game, i have 13.27% haste out of shadowform and 18.93% in shadowform. that is a 5.66% increase on haste.

13.27 * 1.05 = 13.9335
13.9335 + 5 = 18.93

on chardev, on set #1, you have 15.21% haste out of shadowform and 20.80% in shadowform. that is a 5.59% increase on haste. obviously it should be greater than the haste increase i get on live but that is not the case.

15.21 * 1.05 = 15.97
15.97 + 5 = 20.97

chardev should show 20.97 but it shows 20.80

FOR DP BREAKPOINT:

the haste you need for dp breakpoint is 20.80

20.80 - 5 = 15.8
15.8 / 1.05 = 15.05

you need 15.05% haste WITHOUT mind quickening to get the extra breakpoint. so drop out of shadowform on chardev and then try to fix your haste to 15.05

that means with the chardev set i made, i have enough haste for the breakpoint without using any int/haste gems or whatever

You could change blue gem in pants to Timeless Demonseye to get 20 resi bonus and you'll gain 30 stamina ;D Just saying ;)
