Official Blizzard Quote:

If a class is performing poorly except in the hands of one percent of the population, that’s a problem, but it’s not an excuse for that class to be overpowered when played by that one percent, especially in PvP. In PvP, your group composition (whether your whole Arena team or just the participants in a given fight in a Battleground) matters enormously

so hunters cant get buffs because it would mean the 1% who manage to do well, by having amazing partners and playing gimicky would be OP

lol

gg ghostcrawler fantastic logic lollol

and it would be incredibly selfish for those 1% to do so well while everyone else is sucking. only solution is for them to tank so their class can be buffed

Tbh, hunters arent even much better in the hands of a skilled player, i mean it makes a difference, but the key difference between top hunters and mediocre hunters is positioning. Hunters just dont have a ton of abilities that can be skillfully used.

care to provide a counter-arguement?

Well for one hunters arent frost dks, there are alot of things that a hunter can do that can alter the out come of the game. Alot of ways in which a hunter can distinguish himself from the bads. To much to list, now I understand it might not look like that for you. Hell if Id could play as crap as Ive seen some KFC hunters play and still win Id say what you said as well.
Try to play a comp that requires less than a scattershot gib and revise your statement.

ive played against mediocre hunters and top hunters ...

there is quite a difference in terms of playstyles - how they put out damage how they CC everything is just completely different so i have to disagree with you there

the key difference is way more than just positioning

Something that can be done against one class that defines a classes skill cap? considering hunters have 2% rep, that isnt really what i mean when i say we dont have that many things to do

I play a hunter main and a lock alt, and when I play my lock there is SO much more I can do to effect a game, its ridiculous. On my hunter, all it is is scatter trap, dps target go. On my lock, I cc, damage, peel, have some utility (curse of tongues/weakness). Not to mention the cc is much more effective. I mean, I can even rez my pet on my lock!

you are talking about two totally different classes tho ...

what i mean by that is locks are big on utility / pressing their opponents into bad positions with fear and just overall dot damage

as where hunters use scatter trap / raw damage / their kiting ability to land kills ..

there is barely anything to seperate a good hunter from a average hunter these days. The removal of max range, focus, our stupid pathetically weak damage, no RoR, no mana, readiness being much more 1 dimensional now, have all made hunter so skill-less and repetitive and boring compared to how it used to be.

and the introduction of healer dispel, making that our sole cc can ONLY be used on the healer, as anything else is a complete waste of time (loldispel)

Damn, ill just have to play my hunter worse to compensate.

Tbh, are there anymore really good and famous hunters out there anymore? What 1% is he even talking about? 1% of the hunters = what? over 1500 in 3s? 0.000001% of the hunters in this game are over 2.7k. I doubt half of them are good, carried by comp early season etc etc.
WHAT FUCKING 1% IS HE TALKING ABOUT?
Its not like the hunter class or any class actually has a huge skillcap within the class itself. Every retard can play a class, the only thing that makes you better in arena is communication, positioning, good judgement etc. GC cant nerf that shit (yet) so good players will always be good players and horribads will stay horribads.
