any hunter in this forum would trade deterrence for iceblock + hypothermia.

that is far from the point i am making. and also ur a hunter, not a frost mage.

Remove the masters call immunity, make it just clear roots and snares, and lower cd to 15 seconds, glyph adding 1sec immunity or -4sec cd.

And i quess -10% or 15% dmg while stunned wouldnt be too much to ask, maybe silence being baseline would help spec diversity, survi is worst spec in entire game for pvp.

For marksman having arcane shot give 33 or 50% crit per stack to next chimera shot would also help with reliable damage, noncrit chimera is just garbage.

Just as example in random 3s games, in a tight spot where a player on both teams is at around 10-20% and my partner dies, he will scream kill em kill em, etc, but as a hunter i have no chance to finish anyone, even on a full focus bar with chimera shot down, the damage is god awful. But if I died and I was playing with a warrior, he can still drop that last 20% to get the kill. Hunters hardly have any niche anymore, and also we seem to be squishier than ever. I am just getting frustrated to no end every time i log in. Something MUST be done already, I dont think most hunters want more overall damage, just more consistent and damage that isnt so easy to prevent. Getting tools like that wing clip change(awesome idea) would help with this, as well as give us some sort of peel that doesnt sacrifice all of our control for the next 30 seconds. Camo change is great, hunters have always been weak against dots, and this could help alleviate some of it. I dont think a single change he proposed would be op in a 3v3 setting.

another magic immunity (even with a mild dmg reduction) is a very bad idea.

If all of these changes are applied we'd be in our s5 state, this is way to overkill imo

If you increase hunters burst wont that open up for KFC and similar comps again?
As enhance i'd like to be buffed aswell since we're complete shit atm but i don't want to have increased burst/damage to open up for even more melee/global cleaves.
This would have to wait til they tone down the OP burst classes.

none of these changes really increase the burst, readiness change is the one that comes closest to doing so, but all it does is improve our capability to follow up our burst (doublechimera) with far more arcaneshots than we can now. Its basically a buff to sustained DPS after executing a burst (like deadly calm, just way less powerful cause arcaneshot hits for far less than warrior specials).

was just stating how u can deterrence twice without any form of hypothermia. its a pretty solid ability if u ask me.op said its complete shit.

Maybe not 'complete' shit, but it is definitely underwhelming in comparison to cold snap or prep. We dont have the kind of cds that mages and rogues do, and it used to be a nice tool for extra burst damage, popping it early meant a risk of being trained and losing your second deterrence, making it an ability that could be used skillfully. Now, its almost certainly better to use it for 2 deterrences because there is no reason to use it otherwise.
