I think this will be huge, more top Korean players make buying a ticket for better stream quality really worth it.
Not sure if this has been posted yet though.

Hope you realize stream's going to be down like 90% of the event and about 4 games in total will be streamed

This is great news but NASL > MLG

Mlg has actually increased their stream not long ago just saying.
Now that there will be top gsl members, I really doubt it will be that much better considering it will have a lot of the same players as the nasl. I beleive they will be flying the Koreans to event so they will actually be able to play at their best.

I said not long ago if you actually read it, meaning after the last event.

??

The last MLG stream was awful.

It was awful because they weren't expecting people to tune in from 120+ countries.

I could only work here for a week. The air is soiled, smells like shit every breath. Have to scrub braindead old people in their wheelchairs. Try to feed them and end up getting bitten by some because they're crazy now. Go outside in the lounge area and watch old women enjoy fresh air for the first time that day.

Absolutely miserable shit. It's much more humane to just kill all of them.

If you say so. MLG streams have always been terrible though, just that the one at the last event was even worse.

nasl and MLG are both depressing but at least MLG has good casters

watched nasl for like the first 2 days and like 10 minutes on thursday(i think) and i figured i'm better off watching honcast despite not liking the game because if I want to hear idra cry I'll tune in to his stream not a professional league

Idra's not that bad, he's not very biased at all when casting the nasl, and when he is he makes it obvious that he's joking so idk what you're on about.

And it blows my mind that anyone would EVER want to listen to breaky-I have no fucking idea what I'm talking about-cpk

lol

and he basically cant cast a protoss without saying they're abusive

protoss 4gates abusive, protoss 1gate expands abusive protoss 3gate expands abusive protoss uses stargate units abusive

i wish he'd just fuck off out of the community already but sadly with teamliquid having a hardon for both zergs and foreigners even if they can't compete with the best players in the world they'll be put on a pedestal

lol i sense some biast idra hate from a toss! idra actually did an amazing job casting, and the cast during crunchers game was just pure gold. yeah gretorp/incontrol arent that good at casting, but honestly some of the games are so good that it doesn't matter.

I assume you're taking a jab at idra with the "can't compete with the best players in the world" you do realize he was sitting quite secure in code S before he moved back to the US? He's beaten a lot of the top koreans and just about all the top foreigners.

he beat noone notable in the one season he managed to get to ro8

and no it's not because I play protoss, I just really can't stand his awful attitude and I know he's a great player judging by his stream but he thinks way too highly of himself

mc vs idra at dreamhack(i think) is perfect example of what happens when he doesnt play subpar na players, he even admitted himself koreans are way ahead of foreigners so

I've actually really been enjoying idra's commentary, him and incontrol make a suprisingly entertaining duo. I don't think that much of him as a player though, but then again I think Doa is only gold or something.

Anything is better than grederp though I suppose.

I'll agree that I think IdrA's attitude is pretty piss-poor and that he likes to call it quits and cry a bit prematurely (lol), but that's not to take away from his skill as a player. He is certainly top tier, and he has the results to back it up against both top korean and top foreigners. A lot of people dislike him, but that doesn't give merit to bashing him as a player.

To go a bit further, I think a lot of what he says, in terms of discussions on balance, could have a lot more potential if it was presented in a better form, as he generally has a decent premise or base, but then he continues to bitch way past the point of reason a lot of times.
