They said nothing about inactive accounts though, and I bet that number alone is a lot higher than 600k.

That ban went out more than a month an a half ago right? So I'd assume so. Just the thing is that the number most likely will not be going up any time soon. Plus, almost everyone I know that got banned for that bot got new accounts... lol

Dropping 600k after massive banwave/no content for months in a 6 year old game "might" sound alot for a game like everquest.
Though the fact that Blizzard still has 11.4 mill subs after 6 years isnt exactly the end of blizzard.
Tho I guess if they pulled numbers right after 4.2 it'd be back up to close 12 million anyhow.

I would expect pve content to start coming out more quickly in an effort to keep another spike in closed subscriptions when Firelands content is in a lull. Wishful thinking, but they might also release smaller pvp tiers/more seasons to keep up.
This is all optimistic to the point of foolishness, really, but if you think Blizzard is going to make an effort to improve as a result of this, pvp can't really get worse.
Right? I hope...

Small social circle on a dead shitrealm, I would consider the banwave playing a huge role in the amounts of players that stopped.
