They probably won't nerf our broke ass damage now.

Blizzard just seems to be pushing mages more towards being a full out damage class instead of a utility/CC/back up DPS class.

This fits my personal play style just fine, but I know the top mages out there are probably gonna hate 4.2

Well that's just me trying put a positive twist on this incoming nerf.

The bright side is all the god damn mouthbreathers who think arena should be dpsing a target dummy for 8 mins, with whoever doing more damage to the dummy being the winner, can no longer complain about this particular mindless unavoidable cc.

I hope they just nerf us into the ground, then we can ask for the right buffs.  B)

If this would be the case, they would probably end up removing blink and buffing damage to unhealable amounts

I absolutely hate it. Our damage may not have been super high in Wrath, but I felt like I had so much more control over situations. More finesse was required- and with the poly time increase and introduction of RoF along with Ice Lance dance nowadays I feel like some idiot mashing buttons spamming damage instead of controlling the match and providing supplemental damage when needed.

Sorry, neither am I human nor do I PvE so I hate the change.

when a person doesn't enter arena until the gates open ( like it ends up in 2v3 ), the arena match isn't counted and is automatically a draw when the gates open ( without the annoying -16 for both teams ), thus no one gains or loses pts/MMR.

I would've loved this back in s5/s6 when my microwave would interfere with my router if someone started using it so I had a rule that nobody was allowed to use the microwave while I did arena.

Much prefer sheeping to placing a circle on the ground ontop of a frozen target and missing. Love the change. Posted Image

Edit: They should really do something about how easy it is to dispel polymorph though.

1.5 second cast, remove the coalesce time... and it's top-end potential is actually better than before (deep sheep healer, ring his rooted teammates and pew)

nerf wind shear!

I still think it would be better if Deep freeze made you immune to being RoF'd for 6 seconds. That way we can still use it to control positioning.

It will be unusable in most cases except maybe out of an invis in the start of a match.
