He read it out of his combat log after.  I have a rogue and we usually play with one so it's not like I have some sort of vendetta against rogues or any reason to lie lol.  I don't know what caused, but most of the time the damage seems normal.

Resilience glitch in that case, because these numbers are absolutely surreal.

There is seriously something weird going on. Acro is claiming he gets those same kind of surreal numbers too, and they are just not possible on targets with any sort of PVP gear.

I wish Pittles's mage had screenshotted that damage.

Played 2s yesterday and Frost DK started doing unhealable damage on my partner with 3.7k resi suddenly. We fought for like 10mins before it happened and nothing even close to that happened earlier in the match. Just suddenly BOOM retarded dmg.
He didn't have Pillar of frost up and I was spamhealing my team mate with flash of light without getting interrupted and he dropped after few heals, it wasn't normal.

all i know, is there have been multiple occasions where a rogue has swapped to my sham (4k resil) and literally killed me by himself from 100% health

ive lost matches with stoneclaw/spirit link/health stone/NS off cooldown and ready to use, and died before I even had the opportunity thanks to kidney and potentially a dance cheap shot

and before anyone pulls out the 'herp derp partners should peel 4 u' card, it isn't always a possibility for both of my partners to have defensive cooldowns and CC to peel off that single DPS class, particularly when the rogue is playing with a mage and a priest

redirect -> step -> 5 pt kidney -> dance -> kill; positioning can't prevent it (beyond being out of heal range of your partners), you can't 100% see it coming and put earth shield up as it can happen in a single global, and unless you have a trinket (2 min cooldown, kidney 20 second cooldown) for every single rogue swap, then you can kiss your ass goodbye

Haha, this thread is great, rogues and people who play with rogues still trying to defend their damage even though its bugged at times just like UA dispell, mind blast and sometimes (randomly it seems?) frost dk's.

I want to say it's probably happening with all classes, but it seems to be happening a lot more often with Ambush, Mind Blast and Unstable Affliction.

These kinds of posts aren't really needed.

I think shadowbite should be mentioned, I've seen some ppl and had a few occasions where my pet has hit just as hard as he does in pve gear / raiding situation.


PS: i think you mean the dispel of UA, because so far ALL of my UA's have hit for about 27k which was expected on PTR.

I noticed quite a few bugs myself such as my pet (lock) critting for upto 23k on 4k resilience targets, 62k hits after dispelling UA (on my priest) & well dno if frost dks are bugged or just massivly OP atm but i litterly got 4 shot by a dk with the following abilities -> 30k obliterate -> 20k frost strike -> 20k frost strike + 36k obliterate.

I dont have bis gear yet on my dk, but im doing 31k obliterates on dummy. This means that it ignored resil :S

Also, is the ua dispel fixed by now?

Pretty much this - Your pet crit me for 21k in our game.

I got solo'd by a rogue yesterday in a single kidney shot, from 100k + shield to dead before Kidney expired. No rogue can do that to a priest.

Fixed the lock pushback problem in EU after a restart today and i've not seen any silly damage in the games played today :o

I've experienced this scenario in at least 5 games since patch, rogue dance/redirect/switching to our healer (out of LoS of mage/lock with 0 DoTs) with cloak up and soloing 100-0 our heals in one kidney. This never happened pre-patch and afaik rogues got no damage buffs in 4.1 so how can anyone deny the existence of a problem here? There isn't some massive conspiracy to get rogues nerfed out there... just to be not buggy.

Felhunter's shadowbite doesn't ignore resillience, 23k is what it hits to full resi targets sometimes, I know its absurd but at least its not a bug.

I've seen 20k HITS in pve, which would mean 40k+ crits, on a full resi target I've seen slightly more than 20k the most but didn't have all my procs.

On the other hand UA constantly ignores resil.
