Since blizzard talked about adding some kind of healing buff/cooldown utility.

How about if the target with thorns gets attacked, he takes 8% more healing from the druid (stacks 3 times) like the grace buff, and thorns being unable to be glyphed, can see this being easilly countered but maybe some additional input could make this idea more viable.

Good idea. However, in order to avoid the collateral damage to other druid specs (balance especially) that has happened countless times before, one thing would have to be changed. Keep a Thorns glyph, but make it like this:

Reduces the cooldown on thorns by 20 seconds, but also removes the extra healing received when thorns is active.

could just make thorns a 25 sec base cooldown, but a talent to increase healing taken on thorns in the resto spec, and increase the cooldown on thorns by 20 secs.

Also making thorns undispellable but the buff it provides dispellable, not sure if this will be needed with the upcoming change to priest dispel anyway, just food for thought.

good change! and while ur at it nerf op holy pallies

that would be a smart change if ur class was bad but as it stands ur currently #3 most represented class at ~gladiator. http://www.arenastat...2600&mt=5&mg=20

However, that still means ur the #3 healer which means that either you need to go up or the top 2 classes need slight nerfs.

Give buffs to holy pallies, keep rdruids where they are, nerf resto shamans, and nerf disc priests and this game would be much better imo.

god why are people like you breathing.

the core issue of resto druids atm is healing - we're getting a hard hit on lifebloom next patch which will make our already low output healing even lower.

But seriously. Yes, cyclone needs to be dispellable (DEFINITELY the feral cyclone, that's for damn sure). That doesn't mean druids wouldn't be compensated elsewhere, which is what I hope druids defending undispellable cyclones understand. Making cyclone dispellable would definitely make the game more balanced.
