I believe rmp can definently beat kfc specially if its a priest healer due to mage control over both for such a long beginning and smokebomb saving the mage from getting globaled

Once you go defensive vs KFC you lose, I dont even bother to LoS vs em, we blow all our cds in the start on the hunter, force trinkets in the first 10 seconds, 20 seconds later snap deep ring the healer into fear and score a kill on the hunter

Well it's Rank 1 on Cyclone atm :/

the only R1 RMP in the US right now is Zunni/Seven/laserfeet   and they are running RLS on the same team as well so idk if its fair to say thats because RMP is R1 viable atm, but i definitely feel like it will be that way post patch. simply, mages wont suck, and most likely wont be trained for entire games.

We'll still be trained, especially if you're fighting any caster/melee combos. Being forced to wear Mage Armor makes melee happy.

i think RMP should be called skilled cleave, consider the people who play it have always played it always claim it's the most skill req setup.

while i highly disagree.

Why do melee not like Ice Armor so much? The only thing I can see it being super detrimental towards are rogues, who rely on fast auto attacking, and possibly the dispel protection offered from the attack speed slow on novaed targets. But still, that's only one trash buff to go through.

Name a current viable comp that takes more skill to play than RMP. Inb4 Scatter Trapping is hard.

The slowing aside, it's just that it generates FoF procs repeatedly. If their job is to pressure you to do less damage, but you're doing an almost normal amount with Ice Lance only because of FoF procs, then you're still a big threat.

On the other hand, being forced to wear Mage Armor means their attack speed isn't interrupted, their movement speed is easier to keep at max, and you do less damage from less FoF generation.

Against a Mage/Melee team you can safely wear Ice Armor because at that point the only thing Mage Armor would give you is root reduction, which will probably break instantly anyway from damage. But if it's a Warlock/Melee or SPriest/Melee then you have to wear MA to keep their damage down. You're going to take full damage from the melee regardless.

MLD. PMR is less skillful today than it has ever been. There's virtually no difference in the gibbing potential between a 2300 and 2700 PMR. That's not to say their skill is no different, just their damage.

actually power word shield and power word barrier are getting nerfed (minor nerfs)

The only buff we get is that holy fire and smite will hit for about 10k if you can keep evangelism stacks up. Right now no priest specs into evangelism cause the only way to get stacks is by using smite which is really hard due to the long casting time. Next patch holy fire will give you 1 stack so if you use it on cooldown you will easily be able to maintain 5 stacks since it's cast time is really short. (5 stacks give you 20% more damage and 20% mana cost reduction on holy fire and smite)

You can also decide to consume the 5 stacks every 30 sec and get 5% of your mana back + 15% more healing done + really cool looking wings :) when you need to catch up on healing

Basically RMP burst will be a lot better.
fuck mind spikes hitting for 4k they feel useless

Oh dur, I wasn't thinking of how that would affect us offensively. I was only thinking in terms of defensive.

I dunno if "d agree with you at all on the MLD. With three spammable CC's, the aoe fear, and the dispel protection, doing your thing is a bit easier.
