With the upcoming buffs to frost in 4.1, would there be any case for using dual wield?

If dual wielding, what rune forge should you use along with fallen crusader (Razorice or Cinderflacier)?  I was thinking one of those could make howling blast and frost strike more of a force.

Is anyone going to stack mastery for frost spec?

I would always choose 2H over DW, even if only because you have 3 more talent points to spend. It is also a bit burstier since it doesn't rely on white hits for damage (as it does in PVE). But if you insist on going DW, then cinderglacier is probably the way to go, though it doesn't procc that often.

Mastery might be good, we'll have to seee how hard frost strike and howling blast will actually hit.

Cinderglacier or anti disarm if you go dw, I'd get anti disarm first since it can really fuck up a kill moment.

Keep a second weapon with cinderglacier when facing teams without disarm or when disarm has been used.

Chillin' for the season.

Thank you both for the replies.  Did you pick up your 1h weapons and try it out yet, Bashel?

Nope, didn't play any games last week, rofl.

Gonna test any day though.

I expect 2 hander to be better than dw btw.

Running T2 DW with Crusader/Razorice, and it's really nice. Not a real loss in talents since I haven't obliterated since patch (All we seem to face is other TSG's :c).  10% constant HB/FS damage > 2x20% (especially is using HB; as it consumes both charges on AOE). Defo try it out, it looks badass too ;)

On a sidenote, anyone know why avatar/stats (<---) isn't being updated, is it connected with the AJ-character verification problems? :)

Also Bashel, you tried DW out before 4.1 hit right?
