As the topic states I'm curious if you'd like to share tactics for these teams? Most of the time we're doing insane CC chains with cyclone/Bash/HC/Strangulate and it works all fine.

But vs War/Pal I just can't seem to get up the pressure (Ye sure I get him to 20k and then he's fully healed by the pally instantly). A warrior puts out shitloads more pressure now than a DK (at least me) and I duno how to handle this. Paladin bops if everything goes to shit, and we are often fast on cycloning warrior then. Most of the time I get pally to blow pet bubble n trinket but then it's game and warrior rapes either me or druid in a throwndown. I peel the war as much as possible but it doesn't seem to compare to what he can lash out the few seconds he connect with either of us.

As for the disc/mage team I felt really gimped and even tho my healer was spamming dispell instead of healing I was in novas and shit all the time. I kept priest away from him and interrupted heals/burns and copied polymorph/RoF as much as I could. Game went to a 45 min draw. Mage went to 5% and priest was oom at some times, and sometimes priest was at 5% but then I was in a 6 second nova while my healer was either frozen or sheeped (this game was in ruins, not alot of places to hide). Any tips are welcome! Running a HB/NS spec with On a Pale Horse if it's of any useful info!

Thx in advance,
Ice

Edit: Just realized this perchance should've gone into the 2v2 forums? Please move it if it is like so.

You tunnel the holy pally, no reason you should ever lose to any holy pally team in 2v2.  As for the disc/mage idk.

A frost death knight should never come close to killing a holy paladin.

You should never kill a good holy pally as frost solo and you will never kill a mage or priest solo, it aint going to happen with their peels.

Alrite, these were kinda the answers I were expecting. I've made my druid spec a bit more offensive now and we'll give it a go later this week hopefully. As UH it's not really an issue, but I never really fancied that grind-and-win style of gameplay. In addition to these two teams we faced a 2300 MMR double blood dk team and almost lost due to their insane survivability and insane necrotic spam with blades, any good tactics for that?

Thx in advance,
Ice

You can actually land kills on holy paladins faster than you think in 2v2 as frost :) The only problem is when their dps realizes that and comes to peel. If you are left alone you can faceroll that paladin quite fast. If warrior is on you just dmg the warrior while kiting off the colossus smashes, if warrior is on your healer and your healer isn't worried have your healer kite him away from you go in on the paladin convert two blood runes to death ones, wait for them to become ready pop trinkets/+pillar of frost stack crazy necros while doing hb/fs with the frost runes, save mind freze till the very end (or for the fast divine light cause they don't usually fake that) and this at least for me gets bubble down about 95% of the time if I am not peeled. Sometimes this gets fucked by arcane torrent + flash heal when you can't interrupt a heal in any way :/ Just rotate your interrupts(save death grip and hungering cold for aura mastery, mind freeze strangulate otherwise) after the bubble and it should work wonders :) Try switching to the warrior(at this point the paladin has burned a good amount of mana so summon your pet on the paladin to keep him from drinking) while trinkets are on cd then back to paladin. If the warriors peels you off hard just switch between both and every hungering cold go hard on the warrior and remember to stack necros :)

EDIT: I've also found that desecration/resilient infection spec seems to work better with NS/HB/FS rotation.

Thx for the answer! It's sorta funny tho, cus I was doing exactly what you are describing in your post. I stacked 40k absobs on the pally which he healed through with 3 instants, no problem whatsoever. Always DG/HC for Auramastery and we swap alot between the hungerings. As I mentioned I have no problem actually getting a pally to bubble/Trinket/blow cd's, but by the time I've done that, the warrior is either peeling me or raping my druid with his damage even tho he's fully hotted and losing as much as possible. I'll try the des/resilient spec with this and tell you how it goes :) It should be awesome vs shamans and their damn totem (Is it worth swapping out for 1 min silence though?)! Always try to stack 4+ necrotics and refresh with blood tap to get a 5th one, into 2 HB's and loads of froststrikes (or when KM proccs, depends on situation obviously). Hard when the pally uses his sprint too and I have DG on cd, cus he uses freedom at the same time.

The druid often aids me with bash and interrupt, but paladins are by far the hardest healers to face as frost in my experience so far.

you shouldn't kill the war/pal version, simply because the warrior should be riding your ass the entire game with massive peels.
wld #1 hardest setup in the world - i'm not biased at all!
