I've been mooching about with disc for a while, and it's all op etc etc - but my gear is all shadow oriented,

I've been considering giving this a shot. Would it be a top 10 viable setup?

Talbarad, you're playing this? Am I right?

The comp is extremely strong. I run TreeHD, Shadowcleave and Unholyplay. Out of those three, Unholyplay is far and away the strongest. It seems to have at least equal footing with all comps and it has an advantage against quite a few common comps, while the other comps I run have some notable counters here and there.

The way it is literally immune to crowd control is unbelievable. This makes it very easy to gain the upper hand against teams susceptible to crowd control, to the point that a lot of matches feel extremely one-sided.

Death knight pressure and shadow priest burst damage also mix very well.

Also, the comp destroys healers. If we ever see a healer poke his head out to the middle of the map, he's going to die or fall too far behind to ever recover.

If you go on a healer you're doing something wrong, you should always be on a DPS and just spam CC on healer.

It's OP as fuck, easily the best comp I've ever run.

no but srsly, how do you manage to be that bad at a warrior? it's the easiest class in the game, and somehow you manage to stay at a solid 2400.

I think it's widely agreed that shadowpriests are the easiest, and as equally overpowered.

You heard it, nerf SPriests buff Warriors.

We have 100 percent win ratio with the comp, so I doubt we're doing something wrong. We've had quite a bit of success going on healers when we can line up crowd controls on the DPS.

It's not a "zerg the healer" comp, but the comp can switch and blow up healers pretty well.

That's sort of my point. Since enemy teams can rarely build pressure because the comp is immune to CC and has so much healing and control, it's pretty easy to switch to a healer and blow him up without worrying about someone on the Unholyplay dying.

The comp is really capable of switching to anything and blowing it up since it has so much control over the match, but I found it especially funny how a healer in a bad position vs. us can easily die to a Strangulate -> Gnaw.

Let's just say there's a reason Talbadar's teamname with this comp is "never lose"

Shadowpriests being the only non-healing spec with a defensive dispel is the main culprit.

Edit: Wow, of course Talbadar posts the same thing while I was typing this so now I look like a tool. :)

A mirror as this comp would be so retarded. Between two good teams, it would never end.
