I've been searching for ages trying to find a macro that i can use more than once and NOT remove the aspect it changes.

For example on aimed shot, chimera shot and arcane shot i want to have a macro that changes Fox to Hawk. IF Hawk is already actived i dont want it to be removed if pressed again.

For Steady shot and cobra shot i want macro that change to fox, if already fox, it shouldn't be removed.

Currently i havent found any macro that lets the aspect stay on if i press it more than once.

For example i tried using "/cast aspect of the hawk! /cast aimed shot" but if i press it again, it removes the aspect.

Anyone found a macro that keeps the aspect active and that at the same time changes it if its not already on?

Question, why would you remove it, just turn off the sound, AND MAKE THEM SUFFER, THIS IS OUR REVENGE, FUCKING HAVE FUN LISTENING TO A FOX OR SOMETHING SCREECHING FOR 5 MINUTES.

I spoke to a GM regarding a macro that would, if Fox is already up, not re-cast it... (note, I don't mean the !aspect macro, which only re-applies)... Unfortunately for us, that's not allowed and therefore not working...
If only Blizzard would decide to view upon aspects like warrior stances, then it would be doable.

For now, it's either play the aspects manually, or macro them into the shots and live with the sound it makes (unless muted)

NOTE: I did not make these macros there were linked to me by Cupz who got them from someone else. From what I've tested in bgs they are the best made so far.

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/startattack
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Fox, null
/cast Steady Shot

#showtooltip Chimera Shot
/startattack
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Chimera shot

Yep, these are the ones I'm using atm and they work perfect. The only problem I found is that your instant aimed shot no longer "shine" when it procs (if you did the macro for it)

If you are using Aimed Shot in a macro you cant be moving for your instant aimed shot or it will be a casted aimed shot u can use on the move

#showtooltip Aimed Shot!
/startattack
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Aimed Shot

Makes it go from grey to "Normal light" once you've 5/5 ready, set, aim... procs.

OH-MY-GOD IT'S SQUANKY!!!!!111

These are awesome, thanks a lot for sharing :)

Edit: Okay after some testing they don't really seem to work that well. The aspect often just "locks" and doesn't want to change

If you want to take it a step further I bound the "/castsequence reset=1 !aspect of the hawk" its own macro say actionbutton12 then replace the castsequence in every ability you want hawk bound to with "/click actionbutton12" and this way all your abilities use same castsequence for less spam.

Aspect of the Hawk change and stance dancing
Are you aware how the change to aspect of the hawk promotes stance dancing for hunters again in PVP? This was a mechanic you wanted to avoid in WotLK by introducing Dragonhawk, a combination of monkey and hawk. Now its returned and its annoying.
Changing aspects appropriate to what you're doing isn't necessarily a problem. With the old Aspect of the Monkey, hunters would swap only when being attacked until they could make some space again. Ideally, a hunter who changes Aspects intends to stay in that Aspect for a little while, at least. Aspects cost a global cooldown, so using an aspect for only a very brief period of time, then that may not be the best decision.

We're okay with players making a tactical decision between a high damage, but less mobile Aspect, and an Aspect that offers mobile damage and focus generation.

WTF ??
