Can anybody say something for season 3? Should we go for 4 piece set bonus. Should we still go for versatility enchantment?

same as last season gearing wise. 2 set bonus, avoid crit multistrike as much as possible

is emp seals worth the damage lost from not having fv + losing the buffed DS procs? also would taking ES make versatility worth much more than mastery? the heal from ES doesnt seem good enough to make me wanna take ES over FV so im basically weighing FV against the haste + ap buffs not to mention losing 2-3 gcds changing seals every ~20 sec to keep them up.

Emp. Seals sure is worth for damage. But it's more worth for surviving.
Cap Haste (incl. hastebuff) at abou 33% (1 sec GCD) and then stack Versatility and Mastery.
This provides the highest damage. You're still be able to deal a good amount of damage.

Basically, it depends on your enemies.

idk 2% every 3 sec doesnt seem that good to me over its full duration it heals about the same as 1 FoL for me atm. unless you're saying to use the extra run speed to kite away and spam FoLs

I came back to WoW recently after few months break and a lot of people say like Ret is one of worst specs now, but I'm like ehh.. People say that our Sustain damage/Def is kinda bad and I agree with that, so I was wondering how to fix that really fast and with no cost and it was pretty easy.

Sooo... I tested out "Seraphim" talent and it was quite nice and I even liked it, more than clunky Seal Dance. I guess you lose SOJ movement speed and passive heal, but you get other stats, in addition you don't waste GCD and time on keeping buffs up.

Seraphim stat buffs (From passive state/without any procs[PvP active stats]):

Crit: 15.5% -> 24.5%
Haste: 9% -> 20%
Mastery: 60.5% -> 80%
MStrike: 7% -> 22%
Versatility: 28%-> 36%

-----

You kinda lose 1.5 TV damage (5HP) for 15 sec buff (30sec cd, so 15sec CD only), but most of those stats increase our damage and heal at same time, as well as passive def from Versatilty. With on use-trinket I have 46% Vers atm (so 46% dmg boost/23% def boost).

I haven't done that much testing yet, cuz of holidays but gonna try in 2s as Ret/Heal and I think it should go pretty well.

What are your thoughts on Seraphim?

Seraphim pushes your stats this much:

Crit 9,09%
Haste 11,11%
Mastery 19,61%
Multistrike 15,15%
Versatility 7,69%

According to my experience, Seraphim is only worth using it whith a high amount of Versatility and Mastery. As a non-human, you can keep Versatilty between 15-20% and Mastery over 100% (with enchant).

I've played some BG's with Seraphim, was pretty nice during the short burst-window, but pretty heavy.
In Arenas, i still would pefer Emp. Seals or FV. But it's always a personal choice imo.

I'm playing with 17% Versatilty and 92,28% Mastery. Using FV is pretty awesome, even Emp. Seals is quite nice, because HoW, CS, and even TV will do a heavy amount or holydamage, due to our mastery.
Hitting a mage, lock or priest for (together) 100k is really nice.

in the first post you said:

Get the PvP gear, and avoid Crit / Multistrike stats when choosing which piece to get. Make sure to get your 4PC bonus for the main pieces.

So 4 PC or only 2?

Updated for 7.0.3. Patch is early and many things are still being tested. Please feel free to comment on any of the choices I made.

My general feel for Rets in this pre-patch is they're relatively underwhelming and mobility seems to be a huge issue. However, it's still quite early and artifacts + Honor Talents will change the game a lot in Legion.

Great guide Vanguards. I'm not quite sure how Justicar's Vengeance works but i still think the other two options are really good in certain situations as you mentioned.

Justicar's Vengeance takes 5HP to deal damage and also heal you for 100% of the damage dealt. It does double against stunned targets - useful for some extra healing on yourself while doing damage especially when you can use a divine purpose proc + using it on a stunned target.

Seems to me that Execution Sentence now behaves like a no health% requirement WoD Soul Reaper. Can be used as a well timed execute, to set up burst, or as a way to keep pressure from a distance. What are your thoughts?

The Problem with Execution Sentense is, that it has no dispell-protection anymore. So every Healer will dispell it. But yes, well times it has a huge impace on your burst. Also nice for ranged pressure, or you're running out of mobility (lol), you can use it to keep the pressure (even if your enemy kites you).

That also, Word of Glory is practically a joke, even if you pop both WoGs right after another. Why is the only skill that gives us decent sustain in 1v1s getting nerfed? I mean the heal is good if you hit it on a stun+judgement target. That can be pulled off what? Every 30 seconds? Maybe you get lucky and the target doesnt have anything to remove the stun and you get a DP proc, but that happens rarely even if you proactively try to conjure that situation, Other than that, the selfheal on that ability is completely useless. They cant think this ability is "too strong". Theres a reason rarely anybody uses it.

Firstly, they nerf our Fist of Justice talent. Then this.

Honestly, if Blizz has actually become good at something over the course of the years, that thing is nerfing Rets! xD

P.S. So for PvP scenarios is it better to actually enchant for Versa or Haste instead of Mastery?

Because the random name generator might pump out Lortfanden, which sounds like a pretty generic fantasy Warrior name in English, until you realize it means "Shit Fuck" in Danish.
