I'm not sure, if this is a really good idea.

Sure, it sound nice, but you still loose during burst (with HA!) 6% dmg + heal.
If you're playing like me (with DP), our 4pc-bonus is always up, during procs.

Also you must be around 18% veratility. Correct me, if i'm wrong.

Full Versatility means, your're at 21,02 %. A Human has a bit more Versatility.

Idk why you guys try to be fancy with your own specs and gear sets, just do what every high rated ret does and your rating will go up.

Maybe looking for other possiblities that fits, other playstyles? Or make these possible?

With 6.2, Versatiliy can be pushed to 25,55% with on-use Trinket, and 29,33% with proc-trinket. Pretty nice.

Sorry if it is a noob question, but the glyph of hand of freedom is still worth a glyph slot? if it is, what is the best situation to use HoF now?

After the nerf on patch 6.1.2 where we can't use it while stuned anymore, I'm finding it pretty hard to predict the best time to use HoF. I'm pretty confused about it.

Depends what you fight, if it's against a team where it's going to be useful for your healer or teammates you should keep it. You can also still pre-emptively do it for yourself

Updated for 6.2, not much really changed for Rets as a spec besides a slight mastery nerf.

Some minor updates / edits:

- Glyph section, hand of freedom glyph was nerfed. This is still an awesome glyph but not as mandatory as before. Personally I generally use Flash of Light glyph and swap to Freedom against certain teams like hunters.
- Seal section, made a very brief description on what seal to prioritize with Empowered Seals. Basically if you're playing offensive you want to keep haste buff priority and attack power after. Defensive, you just use what you need between the heal and sprint.

Vanguards how do you beat an affli team as PHS? Whatever we do we lose every time to MLS/Lsd2. Are we destined to lose or is there something we are missing?

Those are meant to be hard match-ups, but vs MLS I usually just swap between Mage / Warlock constantly and try to take care of Warlock CS pet at some point. Having CS pet up spells doom for your team if the game drags on. LSD2 is more or less a similar strat.

Hey Vanguard, since the new way of gearing in 6.2 makes it more difficult to get versatility gears can i stack mastery and haste instead of versatility?

The stat priority doesn't change due to it, but stacking mastery would be the best for pure damage. Versatility is a mix of defense / offense.
