All crafting professions are roughly the same. Nothing you choose is going to make or break your gameplay.

Engi lets you get a little more on-demand burst which can be nice, but is also 1 more thing to keep track of and can be a risk (if you don't use it enough, or get CC'd / locked out right after popping gloves then you're getting less out of it than a passive bonus).

The goggles are nice while you are gearing up but eventually you'll want to replace them with the pvp helm anyway.

Honestly just level whatever is easier or you will find more useful / fun overall for professions.

What do you mean how does it stack? If you mean does it stack then yes-it stacks.

He asks whether it's additive or multiplicative, basically.

Cast time = Base cast time / ((1 + Haste rating)x(1 + Troll racial)x(1 + Icy Veins))

Using pet's Freeze in crowded situations

I've noticed that in bgs when I place Freeze on top of a moving group of people I tend to click on another target in the process also. Usually in less crowded situations I try to place Freeze's target circle such that the centre of Freeze isn't actually on top of another player/pet/totem. Otherwise my target changes to that other player/pet/totem and I have to re-target my previous target by using Target Last Target. I haven't been pvping with my mage all that long so I'm wondering how to prevent targeting something else when using Freeze? Sorry if this sounded like a silly question to you veteran mages and thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

Personally ibe never experienced what you're describing, however I have heard other people discuss this problem in the past, I would say either your mouse double click is too sensitive or you may just need to get used to avoiding that.

isn´t there some base haste like 1-2% you need for something in cata? Since my teammates are forcing me to go crit/mastery I´m not sure how much haste I have to keep. There was some number alongside Icy veins to get an additional lance? or something like that.

I've stopped playing wow since s5. Recently I went to warcraft movies to find some good mage arena videos for recreational purpose, but there aren't any good ones.

I used to watch pookz and celex back in s3~s5, but I guess they all quit Can someone please tell me who the best pvp mages are nowadays?

Hes gotta pay back those MBA loans man. Not even judging, he found a legit way to make money quick and is doing it. I feel bad for all the guys throwing money to get 2200 or glad in a video game.  But what does every MBA degree teach? "See a sucker, milk him for all hes got!"

Best of luck to vile in all his endevors in WoW and IRL. Hes a super smart guy with a lot going for him. Wish I had his talent, I would be doing the same.

I've seen a couple mages running blink spec instead of impact, Ziqo's new vid is what really had me thinking, are people really using this spec?  Then after that I've seen a couple decent mages using blink spec in their vids.  Shed any light?  Is it a comp thing? Preference? What?
