I was actually in the process of making a resto druid guide right when I saw this post. Thought I would share a few things that you may or may not want to throw in.

Additional Tips:

●Always convert to raid and use marks on your teammates. This makes maintaining your positioning a million times easier.

●When silenced or interrupted you can still shift. Go bear form and bash a DPS to minimize dmg to yourself or teammates (try to use it behind the target if possible to avoid miss). You can also spam shift travel form and get LoS if you are being focused.

●Use your natures grace procs efficiently. Sometimes sh*t will hit the fan and you will proc it before you want. But try to proc it when your going for a cyclone, or after the patch a roots. This makes it a lot easier to get the CC off with out getting LoSed or interrupted. It is also good for burst healing with Healing Touch.

●Soothe will be instant after the patch and can dispel the following enrage effects: (most info gathered from this post)

_______-Berserker Rage - Warrior
_______-Death Wish - Warrior
_______-Recklessness - Warrior
_______-Wrecking crew - Warrior
_______-Enrage - Warrior
_______-Unholy Frenzy - Death Knight
_______-Owlkin Frenzy - Druid
_______-Enrage - Druid
_______-Savage Roar - Druid

To me the only truly useful spell to sooth off will be warriors Berserker Rage and death wish. If you’re on a team with a Lock/Priest/Ret paladin you can remove the Berserker rage and then fear/repentance/sap the warrior for full duration (or half duration if the warrior used it to break CC)

Tips vs other druids:

●Try to cyclone when there is less than 6 seconds a lifeboom stack so that the target doesn’t get the huge heal from the bloom.

●Try to cyclone innervates. I know it doesn’t give very much back now but every little bit counts.

●If you have a mage on your team you can have him attempt to sheep the enemy druid. If the enemy druid shifts you can go for a hibernate or NS hibernate. Also your mage should precast the second sheep incase he shifts out instantly.

Changes to note for returning druids:

●Lifebloom is now a single target HoT

●Thorns is now a short CD short duration anti-melee buff.

●Tree Form is now a 30 second (soon to be less) duration buff granting 15% more healing and 120% more armor. Also the following spells are enhanced:

_______-Regrowth is instant cast
_______-Roots is instant cast
_______-Lifebloom can be cast on multiple targets
_______-Wraths cast-time reduced by 50% and damage increased by 30%
_______-Wild growth effects two extra targets

●No more dispel protection talents

●You cannot shapeshift out of polymorph or hex anymore. But still can prevent it being applied by preemptively shapeshifting.

Competitive Team Compositions:

:mage: :warlock: :druid: - MLD – frost/affliction

First off amazing guide. GJ

Secondly, Shouri is the only druid Ive ran into that uses soothe. It's rather obnoxius and kind of OP how it can negate long CDs rather easily.

I can't believe they are making it instant....zzzzzz

As you can see I put every section under a spoiler. Did this so people could browse better through the topics, they can basically just choose what they want to read.

What you guys think? Spoilers or take them away?

I say remove the spoilers hurts the eyes.

Just note under the index that the user can hit ctrl+F to find a section.

It doesn't matter if most druids don't use it, its still amazing. Being instant cast will make it even better and then everyone will be using it.

It's even better for when death knights use unholy frenzy on their paladin to break sheeps or basically just to get rid of their extra damage cooldown.

Every once in a while if you press a lifebloom or a wild growth just as a poly gets cast you won't be able to shift it. Human reaction time is at LEAST a tenth of a second or two, depending on your ui and how much attention you're paying it could be .2-.5 seconds before you notice it.

Just try to know when a mage WANTS to sheep you and stick to rejuvs or have something to LoS on. If he just happens to poly right as you decide to press a non-rejuv hot, you might have to just eat it. Shouldn't happen too often though.
