rogues just too dominant obviously



hell if i know, rogues are the least fearsome melee right now hands down

why their class defining abilities needed "fixing" who knows



then again, they did axe like everything that made anything unique so it's not too surprising

Dev 1: Okay, we need to buff rogue damage apparently.
Dev 2: Okay, how do we go about doing it? Buff hemo and BS damage?
All: Agreed, put them in.
Dev1: Now we need to take away something from rogues because we think they will be too powerful.
All: Okay, how shall we nerf them?
Dev2: Let's flip a coin, if it lands on heads we nerf Shadowstep, if it lands on tails we'll nerf Shadow Dance.
All: Agreed.
*flip the coin*
All: Heads it is. Put the changes in. Next class.

I can't play my class without fearing if it's going down the shitter in the next pass of the patch

who in their right minds is going to complain about clos or garrote? are they actually taking notes from the mongoloids at the official forums?

Who the fuck knows, Lolflay, who the fuck knows. Apparently with slight Backstab and Hemo damage increases, we'll be out of control if they don't nerf something!

The problem is blizzard always seem to feel they need to nerf something in order to compensate for buffs. They probably feel that if there is a buff to a class without a nerf, there will be an uproar of casuals complaining. Most of these changes to cds are basically pulled out of their asses, basically just to even out of patch notes (or thats how it seems).

I would really love to attend one of these blizzard meetings where they discuss the changes.

Well we buffed the damage of backstab and hemo so I feel increasing the cost of poisons is in order.

Wow what a great idea! Lets also make the shadowstep cd 4 seconds longer!!

At worst, if you feel like buying into paranoia, I'd guess that the ShS and CloS changes are a slow rollout of a major nerf. They're so minor they barely make sense; I mean since when have we had skills with a 24 or 70 second CD. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if we saw another 10 sec/3 sec cut off for whatever reason next patch.

Yes its a huge deal! Can't count the numbers of time you have had to kite around a pillar with really low hp just to get your cloak up in the last second so your able to survive.
