From what I read from TL a while ago , 2k masters is the new 0

Though blah I should read more but I'm no where near masters :P new account and grinding back up :c

at this point in the game i think pvz is toss favored

the only time i lose to zerg is when i let them get broodlords and am not 100% prepared for it


mass muta also forces, most of the time, a 2 base all in from toss

I'm considering changing ` into a CTR group


Or I could change ` to idle workers and F1-4 as 5-8 CTR groups 0:

Then my 2 mouse buttons can be 9 and 0 OOOH shit. I probably won't be able to use all of them but damn that's awesome :D

This seems to be incorrect timing wise.
The mutas come after the point where you have to decide whether you add extra gateways/stargate/robo etc.
So adding 3 more warpgates as soon as he goes mutas doesnt make any sense.
Assuming its 2 base play in the first place.

idk, when I go 3gate expand pvz mutas come around the time colossi range is halfway done. So i'm pretty much forced to just allin him at that point because stalkers doesn't actually do damage vs air units.

I suppose I could go 6gate but wouldn't that just lose vs roaches?

how about you attack him and stop trying to camp your base because that's what the zerg wants you to do? it fukin takes ages to get a decent amount of mutas. you can kill the zerg 10 times over by then. if he is infact going muta build you can just get sentries and zealits and roflstomp him with some well placed force fields.

although it really depends on what level we're talking about and what maps. tournament level is slightly different to 2-2.5k level tvz. oh and he will most likely go 14-15 hatch, you can abuse that easily by being aggressive early on


also, at around what rating do you get promoted to masters?

If he upgrades burrow you'll have to retreat and get colossi, but he's not going mutas, which is the main goal of the build.

If he doesnt get burrow or does anything else, he dies, unless he gets at the very least 8 spine crawlers.

sounds like going 1gate expand pvt and holding of everything until you get colossi then being short on gas so you're cutting some sentrys. And then have 1 forcefield to little and autolose vs stimmed mauraders

i dont even know why people complain about race matchups other than tvz where i think the terran has to play at least 2-3 times as good as the zerg to win (if he doesnt cheese)

its honestly just all map dependant and spawn location dependant which is incredibly frustrating and retarded. Close spawn metal/steppes/close spawn LT (LT in general is just awful). Blizzard needs to release some better maps. but currently in the meta game terran and toss are favored in both the matchups
