Personally, I wont go on a nerdrage until I see the mage changes. The severity of the Juggernaut nerf is decided by those.

Arcane

* Arcane Brilliance now costs 26% of base mana, down from 31% of base mana.
* Counterspell no longer generates a high amount of threat.

Frost

* Ice Shards (Rank 2) effect now lasts 2 sec, up from 1.5 sec.

Let the nerdrage begin.

Why are my experiences baseless and senseless, that's what I experienced, isn't that what this is about? Or should I use an academic source?

Your arguments are weak because you dont put any additional information into it. How is this change putting extra thought into charge/leap usage?

It poses us with a choice, but so did charging/intercepting before. Basically, you dont say anything.

Id also like to see how leap is supposed to be used when it doesnt work half of the time.

your "skill cap", are you for fucking real ? XD ( first time I'm using "XD" smiley in a serious manner since 2007 or something )

Warriors are so fucking simple to play with all the gap closing stuff you've got, on top of the already retarded damage. Please don't preach about warrior skill cap, when a decent player can reroll a warrior and do good if he has any sense of logic in his head whatsoever. Your skill cap used to be pretty high once upon a time, but nowadays... :)

Do note that I have no beef with warriors whatsoever when I make these claims

I dunno dude, I didn't really do all that much in TBC 'cept mace stun motherfuckers to gladiator. Like I literally had 5 abilities to use.

On another note, glad to see a warrior mobility nerf. Being able to more effectively kite their damage is much needed.

Warriors goes like "but wtf are we suppose to do against mages now"

that's not the question.

the question is, how are all the other classes suppose to get range, everyone doesnt play a mage.

NVM everyone rerolled one so i take that back

Good charge intercept and intervene usage is what seperates the good warrior from the average warrior, now what?

^this x100

how a warrior uses their mobility is skill indicator. ofc any imbecile and jam his gap closers to stick on one target, but our ability to really ping pong effectively in multi-target is something that separates us from each other.

The skillcap of warriors is much higher than you give credit. And this change is going to lower it A LOT. Horrible change, hope it doesn't go through, I'd rather damage is nerfed.

This would be the best idea. Having melee being perpetually stuck in snares is hardly ideal, it's just the damage you do while being able to do that is what makes the biggest problem. With your damage being the way it is now though, this'll have to do!

Not sure if this was the right way to nerf warriors, can't wait to die to warriors with Lambs to the Slaughter stacked in a charge + throwdown combo with no trinket.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

So confused as to why they're blatantly simplifying warrior play, and not nerfing where it's needed.

  • Remove Throwdown
  • Introduce 10 sec+ icd on Sudden Death or remove it completely
  • Remove Piercing Howl glyph
  • Have Drums of War not apply to Piercing Howl
  • Decrease Deadly Calm duration
  • Make Heroic Leap more reliable and 1-2 second daze on impact.
  • Return Shield Wall to its previous state & remove glyph

wtb.

Reducing their mobility was the easiest way to 'help' fix their damage in pvp, without hurting the PvE side of things (of which they are already far behind).
