I have to say im only a 1800 rating player and this guide really helped our RLS out alot. So I don't think its wrong to list all your abilities like when do use death coil. Thank man!

I'm glad its useful!

Now i don't feel like 12+ hours went to waste :)

I'm really hoping to get gladiator this season and i will be using these strategies to do so. I'll continue posting strategies against several more compositions as time goes by and improving on current ones (once my warlock stops having a life and gets on WoW)

I don't agree on everything, most of the time I'd say it's more efficient to just hex out of the fear instead of using a vanish, but he got most of the stuff right I'd say.

And lol at the amazing 1 time s8 spellcleaving glads that are flaming.

The reason why i say Sap off the fear, is because for these reasons:
1. Its undispellable (hex is)(decurse)
2. A sub rogues most effective ( and sometimes only way)to put out damage is from an opener from stealth. Thus a sap of a fear which is a 10 second CC, switch to a another player with a garrote (if its a caster or a ambush if its melee), into a Kidney Shot with a Smoke Bomb, is 100 percent forcing trinkets.
3. Wait out DR, and use 2nd Vanish to do it again while they have no trinkets, but with shadow dance and death coil.
4. Hex can be used on the 3rd enemy member or followed by the sap for a half duration CC. Once again, forcing trinkets.

Yeah, the hex will achieve the very same thing, without using any longterm cds.

Then where is my damage coming from?
Almost all opponents have 3k+ resil, unless i get an ideal rotation with recup SnD, and then vanish opener into a full kidney and an energy bar up, i wont cause any pressure, and neither will warlock dot damage alone to force a trinket from the healer.

You must also remember:
1. Sub damage is very poor untill S dance
2. Our team will die fast.

Sub dmg is shit when you're not dancing, 1 ambush won't all of a sudden make it great.

Flame on:.
A Premeditation (2 combo points), Ambush, 5 cp, 6 sec kidney, full energy bar, 10 percent more damage from coming out of stealth, and backstabs in a smoke bomb (no heals inc) is. Usually you will have bloodlust up as well.

Flame off.

Can't play mutilate?

Stack mastery and when you use 2 mutilates, envenom, wat am i missing again? You mad b/c im disgracing something you think you pro at? News flash, it dosen't take skill in cataclysm. No switches, just tunneling.

O yea, vendetta and do it some more. Get bloodlust and do it faster. So hard tunneling damage. Vanish! Do it again!

This is a duelist level guide, cut the guy some slack, he just wants to participate in that reward program on frontpage. He also brings up some very fair points.

I don't understand your problem. I never say what you did was wrong, I simply said that we prefer to hex.

And I don't have a clue what all this nonsense is going to prove.
