I'm sure everyone has seen by now the big dev post contains a note regarding berserk fear immunity removal. I think most people jumped to the conclusion that the whole part of the ability would be taken out, but I think a solid compromise would be to have berserk break fear, just not grant the 15/20 seconds of immunity. Thoughts?

as they stated .. its difficult to root - stun - snare - just about anything to a feral druid .. having fear immunity for 15 seconds is over kill.

its either that or have a cooldown on shifts ..

Thoughts? Rogue does not have a way to break fear, neither do enhancement shamans. You have a trinket for a reason; there's no reason why berserk should break fear.

Unlike all other classes ofcourse.


Tremor, Cloak, Bubble, Lichborne, Berserkrage.

Note that im even saying fear BREAKER, not fear immunity (well, quoting it at least) - that's are biggest damage cooldown there as wel, just to break a fear. (all got stuff to survive a bad fear, tremor arguably the worst, but spammable)

should have said every melee, sorry. Ranged got their positioning. Im sure every melee player has been feared to the complete opposite side of the arena, 60yards away from your healer, and died a horrible death.

If that can happen every single time you're trinket is down - the game gets kinda frustrating.


Note that im agree'ing with the changes though, with removal of fear immunity, ferals are to good atm. Playing melee without anything to counter fear is just gonna be completely shit though.

right cause you can 100-0 in a single fear while your healer cant heal you

oh and ways to counter fear as a feral - skull bash, bash, maim, get dispelled by healer, tremor (if your healer or team mate is a shaman), cat leap back into melee range once it breaks due to dmg/being dispelled (better than how mut rogues, ret paladins have it) and of course you could always have your other team mate lock out or cc the lock so he doesnt get those devastating fears off (unless your talking about duels or something which isnt too constructive)

jsut a few thoughts- oh and for all practical purposes you are immune to sheep and a lot of mage cc (and hex) so you shouldn't really be complaining all that much

Also, don't forget that druids have no stun avoidance. Not sure why people are saying they're hard to stun... I get my ass stunned off, it's why i use the stun reduce meta.

vanish
Garrote silence->kidney
blackjack (makes initial damage after opening into a fear minimal)

tremor totem
grounding totem
wind shear (6 seconds vs 10)

aren't you a shaman? Seriously wtf.

i like how ferals are trying to rationalize why they should keep a fear immunity when they are the most mobile/unpeelable class in the game
