Hunter Action Bar Swap

(A better explanation with pictures will be up on sunday, just do not have time right now.)

After many requests I now bring you the improved version of Kujalol's Aspect Swapping Macro.

What you will need is to have your main shots (aimed, steady, cobra, arcane, chimerá) on your main bar for this to succeed.

First of all you need to have two bars setup, Action Bar 1 and Action Bar 2(You can swap the main bar by clicking the little yellow arrow up and down)

On bar 1 you will need to make the following:

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Fox, null
/use Steady Shot
/click ActionBarUpButton

#showtooltip Cobra Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Fox, null
/use Cobra Shot
/click ActionBarUpButton

#showtooltip Aimed Shot
/cancelaura Deterrence
/cancelaura Hand of Protection
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/use Aimed Shot

#showtooltip Arcane Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Arcane Shot

#showtooltip Chimera Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Chimera Shot

And on your second action bar (Scroll up by clicking the little yellow arrow to the right of your bar)

#showtooltip Aimed Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/use Aimed Shot
/click ActionBarUpButton

#showtooltip Chimera Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Chimera Shot
/click ActionBarUpButton

#showtooltip Arcane Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Hawk, null
/cast Arcane Shot
/click ActionBarUpButton

#showtooltip Cobra Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Fox, null
/use Cobra Shot

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/castsequence reset=1 !Aspect of the Fox, null
/use Steady Shot

Now just add on both bars what you usually have there, and this should be working like a charm, you can now not worry about your aspects as they swap correctly.

A Collection of hunter macros.

PLEASE READ:
This collection is NOT sorted, and is NOT completed yet.
I will, on a later point, sort the macros out so they have a more logical order and perhaps make a "less useful" section at the bottom for those less useful. If you have any macro you feel should be in this list, please post them. I made this now so that when we start updating the website with guides and macros this will make our life easier.

Special Thanks to:

RESERVED

A few random macro's that I know will be loved.

Summons a Random Companion - However as they now made Guild Page / Guild Herald / Guild Chest be under companion, this macro WILL avoid those 3.
/script t="CRITTER" i=random (GetNumCompanions(t))c,n=GetCompanionInfo(t,i);  if(n == "Guild Page" or n == "Guild Herald" or n == "Guild Chest") then  else  CallCompanion(t,i); end

Flying mount if available, Ground if not.

Quote

/stopmacro [flying]
/cast [outdoors, nomounted, flyable] FLYING MOUNT NAME; [outdoors, nomounted] GROUND MOUNT NAME
/dismount [mounted]

I am afraid targetNearestDistance was removed in the last "macro rewamp".

Woops, it does work but the function for TargetNearestEnemy is working the exact same as /targetenemy

So this should work the same.

For scatter it's probably worth adding a check for focus target. I use:
/cast [mod] Scatter Shot
/cast [@mouseover, exists][@focus, exists][] Scatter Shot

This will prioritize a mouseover scatter if you need to but will otherwise scatter your focus (if you have one). The first line (optional) will enable you to force a scatter on your current target even if you have a focus target (useful sometimes obviously).

BTW you can use "@" instead of "target=" now to save characters.

If your purpose is to save characters, you can also use /use instead of /cast, omit spaces inside and after [ ] conditional brackets, use only one /cast line when possible, and replace 'exists' with 'harm' or 'help' when possible, as in:

/use [mod][@mouseover,harm][@focus,harm][]scatter shot

Thank you very much, I will be updating all macros to the new layouts, most of these is just from my old hunter that I recently started playing again, so the macro is from TBC-ish. But I intend to update everything and keep this track for "the big update"

So can you make a raptor strike targetnearest enemy macro?

Again, TargetNearestDistance was removed, /targetenemy works exactly the same. So following will do the job:

#showtooltip Raptor Strike
/targetenemy
/cast Raptor Strike
/targetlasttarget

Do you mean targetNearestDistance? Since I'm not using TargetNearestEnemy.

I am not entirely sure of the point of this macro, the first line does simple mouseover and if there is not mouseover it acts as normally using the spell, but why would you want to specific a target in second line?

Also as mentioned earlier, should try and keep it on 1 /cast line
