Mashing casts Redirect into Kidney Shot on your focus target.

#showtooltip Redirect
/cast [target=focus] Redirect
/cast [target=focus] Kidney Shot

you could also just have a

/cast redirect
/cast kidney shot

macro and use that on switches (or even include shadowstep), but i guess that's cool for cc?

(btw u dont need #showtooltip anymore it will just show the icon now)

I do think the "focus" version posted by the OP is better anyways. If you wanted to use the Redirect for a swap (not just a CC on a diff. target) it'll work the same way, if you have him main-targeted already.

I'll just use my focus Shadowstep macro in conjunction with the focus Redirect macro, don't think I'll need a whole separate one to combine Shadowstep to focus, then focus Redirect combo points, then focus Kidney.

Also, what would the macro look like if you wanted to add mouseover Redirect to Kidney Shot for BG's, incase you wanted to lock someone else down without switching focuses. Like a "mouseover, exists" added into it?

I like your Shadowstep idea.

Also, the mouseover version would look like this:

/cast [target=mouseover] Redirect
/cast [target=mouseover] Kidney shot

I'm actually talking about a normal focus version like you listed in the first post, but adding onto it a mouseover aspect (mouseover;exists...?) Like, say I have a Paladin focused, but instantly I wish to change my Redirect -> Kidney Shot to a Mage via mouseover without switching him as my focus target. Is there a way to implement that into the macro with the mouseover having priority over the focus? And when you're not mousing over someone, to execute it on the focus target like normal.

Not sure if that made sense, lol.

Makes perfect sense, lol. Misinterpreted at first. I'll make one and see if I can't get it to work.

Only remote thing I could get to work is this:

/cast [target=mouseover] Redirect
/cast [target=mouseover] Kidney shot
/cast [target=focus, exists] Redirect
/cast [target=focus, exists] Kidney shot

Mouseover took priority over focus for me, couldn't get target to stick though, might be because I'm testing it in a duel with one player next to one NPC, who knows, I'm not a macro genius, but yeah. Hit me up if you find something that works.

You should format your macro like this:

/use [@mouseover,harm][@focus,harm]redirect
/use [@mouseover,harm][@focus,harm]kidney shot
"Who, after all, is today speaking of the destruction of the Armenians?"

let me know if this works

#showtooltip Redirect

/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Kidney Shot; [target=focus] Kidney Shot[/QUOTE]

Tested. Does the same as the previous macro I posted. It prioritizes mouseover, focus target otherwise, but it still swaps target to the mouseover target.

#showtooltip Redirect
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Redirect;[target=focus] Redirect
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Kidney Shot; [target=focus] Kidney Shot
/target lasttarget

I just added a /target lasttarget and bound it to mousewheelup and it works pretty good. It hasn't swapped targets at all. Looks like it's working for both Focus and Mouseover without swapping.
