Just wondering what profession would be best in cataclysm. If you have a reasoning behind your choices I would love to hear them.

Leatherworking is OP because it replaces the shitty 65 haste enchant on wrists with 50 agi, none of the other professions
(Except Tailoring which is looking op for PvE atm) replace default enchants.

LW might be nice for min/maxing and being a huge pve nerd, but in that case I think tailoring might be superior. Overall tho, I like the flexibility that JC offers.

Also, I wouldn't say the bracer enchant is shitty just because haste is strictly inferior to agility in a pve setting. You have to remember that the energy regen you get from haste opens up different combos (kind of like having glyphed vigor or other base energy increasing shit). I'm not saying that stacking haste is a good idea so you can just button mash, but you might find that your playstyle changes a lot at a certain threshold.

especially when you're talking about just how much you can cram into a kidney shot. would be interesting to see the math on that.

Remember that stats get a huge scaling nerf going from 80->85 so the EP values for non-primary stats drop like a rock.

But regardless, bracer enchant brings LW far above the other professions (especially for Subtlety), and hopefully it either gets nerfed or they wise up and add more Agility enchants (Cloak/Gloves).

ya LW is definitely ahead of every other prof since all the other bracer enchants are secondary stats.

also, not sure why eng seems to have gigantic wizard boners atm. there's a +int on-use for gloves, but no agi, str, or even haste. only a new pyro rocket. inb4
