I feel as though this post may be a helpful start for some people, but it lacks the information to help them avoid wasting money on parts that cannot ever work together (Unless you are some sort of supernatural deity).
What size case am I buying?
-ATX Full Tower
-ATX Mid Tower
-ATX Mini Tower
-ATX Super Tower
-MicroATX Mid Tower
-MicroATX Mini Tower
-MicroATX Slim Case
Why is this important? Because what you chose to put in your computer must fit with proper cooling. Try fitting 2x graphics cards, full atx size motherboard, power supply, etc... into a mini atx tower. Possible? Maybe if you're a god amongst men, but that baby is going to cook like a Thanksgiving Day turkey!
Is my CPU compatible with my Motherboard? Are the pins the same? Is my motherboard Intel based and my processor is AMD based? You have to make sure you use compatible materials. IE your motherboard must have a 2011 pinned LGA slot to fit a Intel Sandy Bridge B2 i7 processor (which is a 2011 LGA Intel processor.)
