I just want some honest discussion about the new Glyph of Garrote for Rogues.

I am hoping some rogues will come fourth and agree that it is a bit rediculus.

It is very powerful, but not really out line with other classes atm.

Its supposed to help replace CS -> Kidney, in Cata where HP pools will be 3x as high and people wont be bursted down like they currently are at 80 its actually completely fair and a good change since you can actually move around and react to a rogue opening on you as opposed to there being no differentiation between a godly player and a retard thx to CS -> Kidney.

Its fine at 85, this is coming from a class that gets COMPLETELY shut down by full duration silences AND full duration disarms, so its about as unbiased as it can get.

Recuperate, however, is out of control and needs to be nerfed to the ground

Well mages are the most overpowered class on beta atm, you have the best control, very high damage, and also the best mana regen. This is amazing because at 85 it comes down to mana in 90% of the games because of the slow pace.

In a 5 second garrote i can rarely break your ice barrier because if you just jump when i open, i will be slowed and you will be farther away from me, then you can just pet nova, so it doesn't really matter.

Didn't they increase cs and ks by one second each when they put them on dr at 4.0? That makes garrote 2seconds longer than s8 cs.

They removed the talents that reduce stun duration (some up to 30% such as the ones on priests)

Garrote glyph is retarded, but it's 50 energy and we can't CS/KS. Do I like the trade off? No, but it's probably a pretty even trade all things considered.
