You ignored the most important part of my post (kidding)

The guy I used to talk to doesn't work on WoW anymore. I messaged him back when WoW Alpha was out and he said he's working on a new game.

BM has no more 10s Master's call, Aspect of the monkey gone, no talents to improve disengage in any way, bestial wrath not making you invulnerable to all things (or is it just tooltip change?)

While MM has better buter burst, 4s daze from each Chimera that heals you, Rapid Fire with Rapid Recuperation gives 10 more focus, Readiness for another Rapid Fire/burst/disengage/scatter/whatever, Posthaste to improve disengage, Higher Crits from Marked for Death

so why do you still say BM > MM ? (havent played for like half of a year)

BTW Revive pet is still 10s cast time?

That looks like a decent MM build.

I do like how One with Nature is Tier 1 which will basically allow all 3 specs the improved hawk/fox functionality.

Does anyone have any idea how resistance is futile will work on players? Anytime they move it gives a chance or what? It seems really odd.

Wouldnt it be better to go into survival to get hunter vs wild.

+ survival gives scatter shot? or what actually happend to scatter shot?

I haven't had a chance to test MM out yet, nor have I been able to give any of the specs any BG appreciation. I was just simply testing out DPS rotations.

The thing to keep in mind with Chimera and that 15% heal is that it's a huge focus cost. You have just dumped a HUGE load of focus for that 4 second daze and 15% heal. I was just pointing out the even more simplified BM spec.

I'll keep your suggestions in mind, but readiness doesn't seem as useful anymore. With focus costs it's not like we can just chimera arcane scatter silence readiness chimera arcane scatter silence. Even with double rapidfires I doubt we'll have the focus to do that. But I'll give it a shot this evening when I stumble home drunk.

tbh that dagin's MM build is more appealing to me

spirit bond seems like really underestimated talent

ah another thing - i see they still didnt get rid of Counterattack, omg it reminds me old Lacerate days - they learn so slowly

10% bonus healing in an expansion where mana is finite?

Dunno it could make a difference

2 seconds is a very insignificant amount of time, but 2% health restored every 5 seconds (Which might be a good chunk of health at 85) coupled with 10% extra healing to you, and 15% heal every now and again with Chimera will conserve a lot of your healers mana. In a game where the focus is going to transition back to a TBC era where mana becomes important, that will be a lot more helpful. Especially when you have multiple targets on you. Essentially, with a 25% MS on you and that talent, you'll receive 85% of the heals instead of 75%. Food for thought.

PS Levidian beat me to it.

There have been plenty of games where my healers gone to drink, i place frost one side and snake the other side (of pillars) and it gets him an extra 4kmana off from the snare procced. Far more valuable than extra healing imo. Its a talent wasted completely if they don't even target you. Snares would be benificial to your team every game.

Can I ask you how do you have time to put traps on both side of the pilars when healer usually doesnt try to trink at the pilar where the combat is at...

Enemy attacking him, his healer drinking in distance, entrapment slowing chase when they realize his healer is drinking and attempting to interrupt it or allowing healer to drink long because he's making distance from melee or LOSing casters creating a larger window before he'll need heals.

I made a spec at first using spirit bond, but I rather have a build that is built for more offensive dmg than planning do be defensive. It is all unknown atm both are specs worth testing. What will determine which one seems better is how hunters are finished for the expac. I also don't know how awesome kill command is going to be, I didn't like putting 3-4 points towards kill command =(.

It would be PERFECTLY fine if they would listen to logic and make track hidden a HUNTER CLASS BASELINE ABLITY JUST LIKE DETECT TRAPS IS FOR ROGUES.

That's one of the most common sense changes possible... I literally shit my pants when I see a new patch where that change isn't made.

levidian, your passion and extreme opinions of how this class should be developed never cease to make me chuckle
